Synopsis

For many in the world, the Christian faith is a set of regulations and ordinances. But not even Jesus himself taught his followers that way; He taught them fundamental principles for their lives. These principles, as Charles Stanley puts it, are simple truths that function as a compass for our soul.

Literary plot

Using examples from his own experience, biblical characters, and case analyzes, Dr. Stanley demonstrates how these key principles can impact life in the 21st century and how they make us, as Christians, different from those who live according to their preference rather than his principles. You will learn that:

  • His life is a work of art.
  • Waiting on God is not passive.
  • Disappointments are inevitable, but discouragement is a choice.
  • You were created with eternity in your heart.
  • God takes full responsibility for your needs if you obey him.
