How to hide iPhone app pages in iOS 14

With the arrival of iOS 14, Apple offers us the ability to completely hide application pages from our home screen. Thanks to this measure, in combination with the App Library , we can access apps comfortably without having to scroll through multiple pages to find them.

Hide but not delete

Before continuing it is important that we bear in mind that hidden pages are not deleted . Neither the page itself is deleted, which is still available for when we want to unhide it, nor are the apps it contains deleted , which will continue to be installed and displayed in the App Library . Having said this, let’s see what are the steps to follow.

  1. We press and hold in an empty space on the home screen.
  2. When all the icons start to shake we touch the dotted indicator that is above the dock.
  3. We uncheck the tick under the pages that we want to hide.
  4. We touch OK.
  5. We hit OK

As simple as that. Since the App Library is always at the far right of our application pages, being able to reduce its number will allow us to access it easier . Bear in mind that we must maintain at least one page of applications.

App library, when the iPhone automatically organizes the apps for us

Little by little, with the use of our iPhone, too many applications can accumulate on the device. In iOS 14, Apple, aware of the situation, offers us several tools so that we can enjoy the app that interests us at every moment without having to fill our phone with them, from the app pages to the App Clip .
