Mighty Thistle is one of the most useful cooking ingredients in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom due to its ability to increase attack power when added to dishes. This is my favorite resource to stock up on before a big boss fight when I know I’m going to need all the help I can. Here’s how to farm Mighty Thistle fast in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to farm Mighty Thistle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – location
The best place to quickly collect a large amount of Mighty Thistle is a small pond in Piper Ridge in the Gebra region, edge. You’ll find it south of Rito Village, just south of Nero Hill . Its coordinates on the map are -3537 , 0739 , 0186 .

If you’re coming from Rito’s village, make sure you have cold resistance or the right clothing or Link will take elemental damage.

How to farm Mighty Thistle in Tears of the Kingdom
Once in Piper Ridge, you’ll find 11 Mighty Thistles that you can pick up here (and a Korok for a Korok Seed too!). This will last you a few meals, but if you need more, you will need to wait for them to respawn . After some testing, I came to the conclusion that the respawn timer for the mighty thistle is randomized, as it was in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
This means that, unlike other ingredients such as Hylian rice, you cannot force respawn . Instead, you will have to return the location from time to time to see if the stock has been replenished. I found that by the time I used all 11 mighty thistles, they still respawned.
