How to disable ads on Android devices

Every user of a PC or a modern smartphone has encountered annoying ads. Fortunately, there are ways to get rid of unnecessary information using specialized applications. For example, Android devices have the AdGuard app. However, it will consume additional power on your battery.

We recommend using another method – creating your own DNS server. The procedure is simple, however, depending on the brand of the device, it will be carried out in different ways.

• For Samsung devices . Go to “Settings”, then – to “Connections”. From the Other Settings menu, select Personal DNS Server. Enter dns.adguard.com for the name. Save changes and restart your phone or tablet.
• For Huawеi devices . Open “Settings” and select “Wireless & networks”. Find the “Private DNS” menu and enter dns.adguard.com in its settings.
• For Xiaomi devices . Go to the menu “Connection and Sharing”, open the item “Private Server” and enter the address dns.adguard.com.
