How to save a PowerPoint slide?

PowerPoint has been one of the Microsoft applications that has been transformed over the years. Since at present, it is not only used to create presentations, but you can also create images . However, in order to save a PowerPoint slide as an image.

First you must enter the application and create your presentation from scratch , later, you will begin to write the content that goes inside them, such as its images, graphics and the design of the slide.

When you already have your slides ready to be presented, you can go to the part where it says file, and then click on save as; there you will see a file generator and you must choose where you want to save your presentation either on your desktop or in another folder on your computer.

On the other hand, if you don’t like the templates that come by default in the PowerPoint application, you can download some templates , to give your presentations more vitality, in this way, you can have the template saved, to be used again.

What is the way to save a slide as an image?

To be able to save a slide as an image, you must first have your presentation ready, then you must save as, and follow the steps that we are going to describe below.

And format JPEG

When you already have the PowerPoint presentation made, you will go to where it says file, then you will go to the save as option. After this you will find in the part where the format in which the file will be saved is; located, at the bottom where the file name is placed. There you will see several options , so you will proceed to look for the option to save as JPEG format. 

When you click here, PowerPoint will ask you if you want to export just this slide or all of them, it’s up to you how many slides you want to convert . However, PowerPoint not only allows you to save your slides as images, but you can also save them in PDF format.

In this way you can have your presentations as a portable file, with the aim of having your file saved, to have a backup of it or print it.

As PNG

In the same way as you created the JPEG image, you can create your image in PNG format, but for this one, the only thing you should do is change the format you chose from JPEG to PNG which is at the bottom of this option.

First, you must enter the PowerPoint presentation and you will write your presentation with its animations, images, graphics, etc. After this, you go to the part where it says save as, and you will look for the format to save and choose the option where it says GIF; which is located under the option to  convert to MP4 format .

How to do to select all the slides and save them individually?

As we mentioned before, you can also save your slides individually as images.

To do this, you must enter the PowerPoint presentation , followed by this, you must select the slide you want to convert to an image, then click save as, when you click save as, you must name it and choose the format in the that you want to save the image; either PNG or JPEG.

In turn, it will notify you if you only want to save this slide as an image, or if you want to export all the slides, so you will confirm to the program  that you only want to export a single slide.
