How strong is Master Sword in TotK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)?

No weapon in The Legend of Zelda series is as iconic as the Master Sword. My wife actually bought me a copy of the Master Sword, and while I definitely don’t intend to kill Ganondorf anytime soon, the impact this weapon has had on me is from my childhood. Naturally, the Master Sword appears in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but with numerous appearances, I was curious about just how powerful he is.

How much damage does Master Sword do in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

In Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Master Sword had a base damage of 30 . We can assume that this has remained the same or increased in “Tears of the Kingdom”; however, there is no official confirmation of how much damage it causes. But the Master Sword in Tears of the Kingdom has something that the blade of Breath of the Wild: Fuse didn’t have.

By fusing items with the Master Sword , you can greatly increase the damage of this weapon. You can also give it different properties, as certain items will give different abilities, such as Korok Branches or Bomb Flowers. However, powerful items such as light dragon scales, monster parts, and other weapons can increase his attack power.

You will not be able to use the Master Sword until you repair it, which may take some time. Once you do this, the weapon will be restored to its proper condition. Like Breath of the Wild, Master Sword can fire beams at full health, even when fused with items.
