Knowing how to survive Friday the 13th is the most powerful weapon in the game that you cannot own. However, if you don’t have this knowledge, you won’t be able to escape Jason. You can’t live long as an advisor if you don’t know how to survive Friday the 13th. Jason has a lot of advantages in absolutely every game, so being an advisor is far from an easy task. However, in this article we will tell you how to survive under the attacks of this monster with a hockey mask.
The adviser’s objective is therefore to escape Jason’s murderous impulses playing card. That is in fact all. This is what you will do in the game. There are a number of ways to initiate the breakout, but there are also a lot of things that are dangerous for the player. Under no circumstances should you try to fight Jason. Only if you no longer have a choice.
Call the police

- Get to the police before Jason kills you.
The easiest way to survive and win the game as an advisor is to call the police. Unfortunately, this task is not as simple as it seems. To call the police, you must find a house with a fuse box for the telephone line. Most often you will find this device outside of a house that is already broken down and smoking.
To repair the phone, you need to find a fuse for that device, which is usually located in the nearest house. Start looking for all of the nearest houses until you find this valuable wick. Once it’s in your hands, go back to the fuse box and fix it. Usually the phone itself is located inside the house where the fuse box for the phone line was located. So run into the house and call the police!
After the police have been called, you will have to wait a full five minutes before coming to your assistance. While waiting for the police, head for the main highway, located at the far end of the map. If you haven’t found a map, just follow the roads until they lead you to the main road.
Try to stay as close to the freeway as possible until the police arrive. After waiting for the police to arrive, head towards them on the main road, but be careful, as Jason will likely be waiting for you at the police and attack anyone who dares to approach this location. The best solution is to get closer to the place of arrival of the police before their arrival in order to avoid having to go through the entire map.
Repair a car or boat
Prerequisites
- Find a car or a boat.
- Find fuel for a car or a boat.
- Find the car keys or the boat screw.
- Drive away or navigate by boat outside the map.
The biggest problem when trying to escape using a car or boat is the time and effort required to repair these transports. You will also need a really well coordinated team that will do everything quickly and correctly. First you need to find a map or find a car / boat by yourself. The map will show you exactly where the car or boat is, but usually one of the players will always appear on the map near these objects.
As soon as you find one of the vehicles, you need to find the keys to the car (or the screw to the boat) and gasoline. Usually you can find some of these items in nearby buildings. Search the lockers for car keys and you will certainly find them. The fuel and propellers are usually located somewhere outside of the map. You will need to scour the map before collecting all the items you need. It should also be noted that you cannot carry escape items and weapons at the same time. You’ll have to pack one thing, so don’t run into Jason as soon as you find what you need.
With the items found to escape, you have to repair a particular vehicle. This is another mini-game in which you will have to click on one of the two buttons at the right time. Each time you press the wrong button, it will take longer for the transport to repair, and Jason will be able to sense your actions if he is close enough.
After repairing the selected transport, you can escape from the camp. The type of transport you choose will determine the number of people you can take with you. Cars can accommodate two or four people, while a boat can usually only accommodate two. Whether to call a party and collect all the items faster or collect them all on your own and save only your life – the choice is entirely yours.
Call Tommy Jarvis
Once at least one of the players has been killed or escaped, you can find a great CBS radio and call Tommy Jarvis for help. One of the players who no longer plays will be selected at random and will return to the game already in the guise of Tommy Jarvis. This character has increased stats compared to regular advisers and also appears in the game with a shotgun. Unfortunately, there is only one charge in the shotgun, so try to hit the target occasionally.
Tommy Jarvis is not immortal and calling for his help is not a sure victory. If your task is to buy time or kill Jason, then Tommy can provide it for you. However, to get rid of Jason you will have to try. One shot isn’t enough, so you’ll have to team up with Tommy to kill the monster. To deal with it you will need a lot of guns. And if you take into account that each advisor can carry a single weapon, then you will need multiple people in the party or scatter other weapons to be able to retrieve it in case the old one breaks down.
Ideally, Tommy will give you more time to escape. If you shoot Jason with a shotgun, he will be incapacitated much longer than with the help of another weapon. Use this time to get as far away from him as possible before he comes back to him and can detect you. It’s nice to have Tommy on hand so he can lead you to a car, boat, or the police while serving as Jason’s distraction.
Lost objects
Repairing a car, boat or fuse box requires special items. Unfortunately, if you die while you have one of these items in your hands, it will fall next to your corpse. Finding items themselves in or near houses is a simple task, but if someone drops an item after they die, it will be extremely difficult to find the item you need.
If you’re having trouble finding an item to repair a car, boat, or fuse box, open the player list and examine it to make sure the dead are there. Chances are, one of the bottom members simply dropped the desired item and then you need to get their body back.
Escape from Jason
There are two ways to get away from Jason if he catches you. The first is to find the folding knife and keep it in your inventory. As long as you keep it, your character will automatically stab with Jason, allowing him to break free from his grip. The second way is to press the specified button multiple times as soon as the killer catches you. Unfortunately, if Jason finishes the job before trying to escape, death awaits you. Usually you can run away from it for the first time just by clicking the buttons, but Jason will definitely kill you if you get it a second time.
Jason avoidance
Jason has a lot of advantages when it comes to finding his victims, but a few points will help you avoid getting killed. If you are running it will be easier for Jason to notice you. And as soon as you catch his gaze, he’ll be able to detect you from a much greater distance already. If you sit down and stay still, it will be harder for Jason to find you. However, he will find you if he gets close enough to you.
Running around the house is the safest choice, but as soon as you find yourself inside you need to break down all the doors and open all the windows. Keep in mind that noise from you inside the building will get Jason’s attention. The whole building will be highlighted in red if Jason uses his abilities to test the noise you make. Just because you are in a building does not mean that you are allowed to run without consequences. Stay squatted and walk slowly so as not to create unnecessary noise. Also, try never to leave the house using the door. Close them, lock them, then leave a window open.
If you do run into Jason, make sure you have at least some sort of weapon. Hitting any weapon can slow Jason down for a short time. Usually, this is enough for you to be able to escape from him and hide in the nearest building, which should greatly complicate his task, even when using a special skill. The point is, if you are inside the building, he can of course highlight it, but he will not have knowledge of your exact location.
If you hear Jason breaking inside the house, jump out the window and run. Most likely, he had already used his special ability, and she started a cooldown, so you will have the opportunity to hide from her sight. Each ability in the game has its own cooldown, so you need to consider this factor when playing on Friday 13. While you get the opportunity to kill Jason, you have very little advantage over him. So it is much easier to try to organize an escape.
