How to get Acrophobia Skull in Halo 3 PC

The Xbox 360 classic shooter Halo 3 is finally available on PC. This version of the Halo Master Chief Collection features updated visuals, but it’s not all new. 13 years after the game’s initial launch, a new skull has been added. In this guide, we will explain how to get Acrophobia Skull in Halo 3 PC and what exactly it does.

How to get Acrophobia Skull in Halo 3 PC and Xbox One

To unlock the new Acrophobia Skull in Halo 3 PC via the Halo Master Chief collection, you will need to complete the “Acrophobia” challenge in the game. This requires killing 343 flying enemies in the Halo 3 playlist or Mission playlists. You must play on normal difficulty or higher; killing drones, sentries, banshees and ghosts will both add to the total.

Once you’ve killed all 343 flying enemies (a nod to developer 343 Industries), you’ll be rewarded with 34,300 XP and the Acrophobia Skull. Acrophobia is the fear of heights, and if you are acrophobic, then this may not be the skull for you.

Skulls serve as fun and challenging gameplay modifiers in the Halo series, and this brand new addition makes players fly. By holding the jump button, Master Chief can now take to the skies and build up enough steam. The garment is still vulnerable, so be careful not to splash it against the environment.

It’s worth noting that Acrophobia Skull has also been added to the Xbox One version of Halo 3 via a free Master Chief Collection update. Unlocking Acrophobia Skull on Xbox is the same as on PC – just complete the Acrophobia challenge in the Halo Master Chief Collection.
