Blizzard has not created a trading platform for Diablo 2: Resurrected, and obtaining a specific item for a character build can take weeks or months. But the process can be simplified, bypassing the tedious in-game trading methods or buying things for real money. There is an easier way to solve the problem in minutes.

Diablo 2 rarely spoils you with valuable items, so you have to gnaw out treasures with your teeth and spend hours playing with a random number generator. But one way or another, sooner or later persistent players get something worthy.
The d2jsp forum is the largest portal for exchanging and purchasing items in Diablo 2: Resurrected. It was created about 20 years ago by a savvy Swedish gamer, originally for the original Diablo 2, and is still thriving today. By the way, there are other games there: Diablo 3, WoW, Path of Exile, Animal Crossing and many others. The main language of the forum is, of course, English, so it is advisable to know it at a basic level, as well as have an idea of the names of things.
Basics
The currency of the game is “fg” or “forum gold” coins, which can be purchased for real money, but this method is unlikely to interest anyone. The goal is to sell Diablo 2 items of value that you don’t need and buy those you need.
Naturally, first we go through registration. There shouldn’t be a problem here. Next, select the Diablo 2: Resurrected subsection that interests you:
- D2:R Softcore Ladder Trading – ranked mode or Ladder

The easiest way to find out the price of an item or rune is by searching, unless you have some tricky item or something no one needs.
To create a new topic, you need to click the “New Trade” button in the top right. We write the name of the lot or item being sold. You can specify the price, not specify it, or create an auction – it’s up to you. Click “Post New Trade” and the message will be seen by people who are currently on the forum. Usually there are a lot of users. You can raise a post after 4 hours, but no one is stopping you from posting a new ad again after some time.
You should not publish your proposals in other people’s topics and you cannot sell “fg” for real money – you will be banned.
Trading Process
If you responded to the ad and it suits you, then you need to arrange a meeting in the game. Click on the person’s name, on the top left click the “Send a Message” link and in a personal message: in the “Subject” field indicate the item of trade, and in the “Message” field the name of the created server, password and location. For example, “weare/1 eu” or “youare/2 americas”. It happens that the player himself sends all the data. We emphasize once again – the server name and password are sent only by private message, otherwise the likelihood of a scam increases.
After the meeting in the game, you state your name on the forum, the item for which you have gathered here, and the amount of the transaction. The second player performs approximately the same action or agrees. The transaction is completed when one passes “fg” and the second – the item. According to unspoken rules, the first transfer is made by the player who has more experience on the forum, the number of messages, or a large number of “fg” (the first two points are in priority). Ideally, if everything listed is the same for your counterpart, he definitely won’t throw you away, as this could result in a ban on the forum.
The item is transferred through the trading window; inexpensive items can be thrown on the ground. Before transferring fg, it is advisable to make sure that the player actually has this item. Next, write the command “/time – time pops up” in the chat, take a screenshot with your inventory open. If everything is fine, then thank for the transaction with the symbols “t4t” – Thanks for Trade.
If you are afraid of making an expensive trade, you can try calling a Mediator (a user with the Mediator rank). To do this, click “Request Mediator” at the top of the topic, and after some time he will write a private message. The transfer is done through him, but there is one point – you can wait for hours for the Mediator.
In case of fraud, you cannot leave the game with a deal. Take a screenshot that the second player has left and go to the “Scammer Accusation” section, create a message with screenshots where you describe the problem. Then you wait for the Moderator to contact you – usually this happens quickly, but you will not get the item or money back. You can only punish the scoundrel’s account.
To quickly sell an item, it is better to find out the approximate cost on the forum and set the price a little lower. At the beginning of the season, frequently used unique items are incredibly expensive and over time the prices will drop not just several times, but even 100 times. Advice: if you get something valuable at the beginning of the season, sell it quickly before it gets cheaper. After some time, with this money you will be able to buy complete uniforms, even for several characters.
Primitive ways to make money
It’s worth knowing a few rules that will help you make money even if you don’t get good things. These are the obvious and easiest ways:
- Increase your Magic Find level to get rare items more easily.
- Collect any precious stones and combine them in a cube until they are “perfect”. They are in demand and, having collected a large number, you can buy good things or runes. Save dozens, or better yet, hundreds of stones.
- Collect any runes. Of the low-level runes, Ral is often in demand and well rated, as it is needed for crafting. To mine runes, you can run to The Countess. Also, runes, stones and amulets have a high chance of falling into Travincal from the High Council on Hell difficulty.
- Create a Gold Find barbarian who will mine gold in trains. Large quantities of gold are in demand on the forum, or you can play Gamble to get valuable items.
- Get keys: Key of Terror (from The Countess), Key of Hate (from The Summoner), Key of Destruction (from Nihlathak). Drop chance is 3%.
Valuables and runes:
The forum has its own slang. The names of things are often abbreviated, so you’ll have to do a little research.
Runes start to cost more or less reasonable money, starting with Lem, and the most expensive rune is Ber (used in popular rune words).
Etherial or ethereal items are almost always (with a few exceptions) equipped by mercenaries.
