The four horsemen of the apocalypse are a prophecy about the end times. They represent things that will happen before the end of the world. There are many different interpretations of the fulfillment of the prophecy of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
In the revelation of Revelation 6, the Lamb (Jesus) has a special book in his hand, sealed with seven seals. When he opens each seal, something happens on earth. The first four seals bring the four horsemen to earth.

The first rider appears mounted on a white horse , wielding a bow and with a crown on his head, ready to be a winner ( Revelation 6: 1-2 ). The crown is a symbol of victory and power; the bow was a long-range weapon, which probably means that the knight’s influence will have wide reach.
Some people suggest that the first rider is Jesus , because he is a winner and is riding a white horse, as in Revelation 19:11 . Others think it is Antichrist , who will exalt himself as a god and have great power over the world.

When the second seal is opened, a knight with a large sword appears on a red horse . He has the power to take away peace and make people kill one another ( Revelation 6: 3-4 ). The sword and the red color represent bloody death in armed struggle.
The second knight appears to be a representation of the war . Jesus warned that in recent times there would be wars and rumors of wars ( Matthew 24: 6 ).

The third rider rides a black horse and has a scale in his hand. When a voice appears, it says the price of the food at that time ( Revelation 6: 5-6 ). The prices for the food are very high, which means that the food will be very expensive. The balance represents buying and selling – trade .
The third rider is usually interpreted as hunger . With such high prices, the average person would have a hard time feeding his family. It could also represent an economic crisis .
The fourth horse is yellow (or yellowish green). His rider is called Death and Hades (Hell) follows him closely ( Revelation 6: 7-8 ). The yellow of the horse is usually associated with death, because it looks like the color of a corpse.
The fourth knight is the only one the Bible says exactly what it is: death. The last knight (or the four knights together, depending on how we interpret the text) has the power to kill a quarter of the land .

When will the four horsemen of the apocalypse appear?
We don’t know when the four horsemen will appear. Some people think they have already appeared; others think they will still appear. God only knows.
Most importantly, the four horsemen of the apocalypse come to bring judgment on the world, because of sin. One day we will all face God’s judgment. So we need Jesus.
