Explore Surat al-Insyirah

One difficulty there are two conveniences

In fact, something that is difficult always accompanies something that is easy. That is the translation of one of the verses in Surah al-Insyirah. This letter is one of the Makkiyah letters (which was revealed in the city of Makkah). This letter consists of eight verses.

Giving the name of al-Insyirah was taken from the beginning of this letter itself which is nasyroh nature which means “have not we made it clear”. This letter was also revealed after the ad-Dhuha letter. To find out how Surat al-Insyirah let us see and read for a moment.

Meaning:

“Did we not make your chest spacious for you? And we have removed from you your burden. That burdens your back. And We raise for you your name (name). Because actually after the difficulty there is ease Actually after the difficulty there is ease. Then when you have finished (from one matter), work earnestly (other affairs). And it is only to God that you should hope “(Surah Al-Insyirah (94): 1-8)

Little explanation

First, Lafal وِزۡرَكَ wizroka ) which is located at the end of the second verse which means ‘burden from you’. The point is the difficulties he faced. Good when facing concerns in his heart and in conveying his treatises and words to all mankind.

Secondly, Lafal وَرَفَعۡنَا wa rofa’naa ) – and we raise it up – has the intention of raising the rank of the prophet Muhammad himself. Among them include his name with the name of Allah, this we can see in the shahada sentence. After witnessing that there is no god but Allah, it is continued by witnessing that the prophet Muhammad is the messenger and servant of Allah.

Third, in the seventh verse some scholars interpret, have an opinion that when someone has completed his task. Then the person must also be earnest in doing the next task.

This does not mean that when someone has finished what has become his main work must continue to continue the next work. But sincerity at work is a priority. This means that when the person needs a break it would be nice to rest first. So that the body becomes fit and fresh again, so that in doing the next job the person can do it in earnest.

Asbabun Nuzul Surat al-Insyirah

According to one interpretation of the Ulema, the descent of this letter is related to an event in which idolaters mocked and made fun of Muslims because of their disbelief.

In another narration it is explained that when the sixth verse was revealed the Prophet Muhammad said: “Cheer up to you all, because there will come a name for your convenience. Trouble will never defeat two conveniences (HR. Ibn Jarir comes from al-Hasan)
