Black screen, crashes on startup, ultra-resolution, FPS boost and more
After the official release of Overkill’s The Walking Dead on PC, many gamers have faced some problems that make it difficult to launch the game or simply reduce its quality. The game does not officially support ultra-resolution or 21: 9 format for 4K monitors. However, there is a simple solution to this problem. Go to the path C: \ Users \ USERNAME \ AppData \ Local \ OTWD \ Saved \ Config \ WindowsNoEditor.
The GameUserSettings.ini file will be here. Open it with any notepad and make the following changes. This will make your game run better on ultra-resolution monitors:

The first method is pretty simple. Make sure there are no programs installed on your system that interfere with the network or ports. Disable any software with network sniffing or port scanning functionality as these may interfere with the process of creating matches in the game lobby. Another reason is antivirus or Windows Defender blocking the exe file. For people with Nvidia GTX 10 GPUs, we recommend going to the Nvidia Control Panel. Open Manage 3D Settings and select Program Settings. Find Overkill’s The Walking Dead in the drop-down menu, then examine the options that require V-sync. Set V-sync to FAST for potential performance gain.

The game starts on the wrong monitor
Many gamers report that the game is launched on the wrong display that they would like to see. At the same time, switching to another setting option does not work.
