The Social Security Technology and Information Company (Dataprev) works in the development and application of social policies in the Brazilian State and is responsible for managing the Brazilian Social Database .
This means that Dataprev hosts, maintains, manages and protects personal and social data for all citizens, in order to propose Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions for all social programs in the country.
The head office is in Brasília, but several state structures reinforce its computational and logistical capacity , such as the Systems Development Units in five states (CE, PB, RN, RJ, SC) and three other data centers, available practically 24 hours a day and with low probability of going off the air, in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and the Federal District.
Dataprev is linked to the Ministry of Economy, but the possibility of being privatized has existed since the beginning of 2020.

What is Dataprev for?
Dataprev is responsible for granting, paying and administering benefits to millions of Brazilian citizens and processes 35 million social security benefits per month . In addition, it is responsible for the correct functionality of the programs in workstations of the largest public service network in the country, added to the posts of the National Employment System (Sine) and the Social Security Agencies.

My INSS: retirement management app
My INSS is an official government application and allows various services to be performed online.
Among the main services available on Meu INSS, there are queries to extracts or
processes, schedules, registration update, issuance of payment slips (GPS), work accident record and visualization of benefit payment calendars.
The My INSS app is free and can be used by retirees and pensioners.
The user can also find agencies of the institute and verify the authenticity of documents through the app.
