Chorophobia . Uncontrollable fear of dancing, dancing.

Importance of dance

The dance reduces anxiety , stimulates memories, activates the pleasure circuits of the brain regulates mood, improves body image and feelings underlying channels.

Many people, unaware that there is a profession of dance – movement therapy , call dance itself their “therapy.”

Chorophobia, although it does not disqualify you from leading a successful social life and love conquests, can make them difficult. Chorophobia is fear of dancing. And yet, dancing is a great collecting tool.

Consequences

People who suffer from chorophobia not only fear the act of dancing, but they can even panic when they see other people dancing which can be very problematic for many.

  • You can come to hate who you see dance.
  • It may only get to not dance himself and not affect third parties.
  • It can have a high intensity making the person fear even when viewing an image, which are arguably the most serious cases of this phobia.
  • They will completely avoid social situations where dancing is involved.
