- Blind Spot Monitoring System
This safety device is located in the rear view mirrors and allows the driver to monitor the blind spot. In some circumstances, it is not possible to see another vehicle overtaking. Thanks to the blind spot monitoring system, your car warns you in the event of a vehicle located in the blind spot. Furthermore, in vehicles equipped with more advanced systems, the car automatically intervenes on the steering to avoid changing the lane.
- Traffic signs reader
In the latest generation cars the presence of the road sign reader is increasingly frequent. Thanks to a small camera placed on the windshield, the reader is able to scan any type of road sign in real time.
In the dashboard, near the odometer, you can see all the road signs read by the front camera.
- Lane departure warning
The lane departure warning will warn you when you inadvertently cross the lines delimiting the carriageway. As in the case of the blind spot monitoring system, the signaling can be acoustic or, in more advanced systems, the device intervenes directly on the steering.
- Led matrix headlights
The LED matrix headlights are very useful to avoid annoying those who come towards you from the opposite lane or whoever precedes you. Equipped with small segments of LEDs, these headlights turn on and off according to the brightness level of the roadway.
For example, if you have a vehicle in front of you on the roadway, the central beams of lights will be less intense than the side ones so as not to annoy the vehicle you are in the queue at the same time guaranteeing excellent side lighting.
- Parking assistant
This system enables the driver to avoid having to maneuver while parking. Thanks to a sensor and radar system, the parking assistant is able to intervene on the steering autonomously. The driver will only have to accelerate or brake following the instructions given by the car.
- Night visor
The night vision device is a safety device not found in low-end vehicles. Its operation takes place in two ways: in the first case it uses the light of the stars and the moon to view the images while in the second case the system detects all objects, people and animals that have a different temperature from the ambient one.
- Adaptive cruise control
Adaptive cruise control is a more advanced version of standard cruise control, in fact, it is possible to set a minimum or maximum distance from the vehicle in front of you and when it slows down, your car will also decrease speed without the intervention of the driver.
- Fatigue detector
The fatigue detector has several working principles. The most basic has sensors that detect whether both hands are on the steering wheel, otherwise the more recent ones have a camera that scans the driver, according to different parameters, is able to say if whoever is behind the wheel is at risk of a stroke.
- Predictive emergency stop
This safety device allows to detect a possible dangerous situation. Thanks to the presence of sensors and radar in the front area of the car, your car will scan the front area, stopping if it does not consider you fast enough and ready for action to avoid danger.
- Voice commands
Thanks to the technological evolution of hardware and software, the number of actions that can be performed via voice commands is increasing. This evolution leads the driver to drive in conditions of greater safety, in fact, the use of voice commands allows you to stay focused while driving without having to look for particular keys to start even a simple call.
