Biographical synthesis
He was born on 24 as February as 1998 in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. He is the son of Joseph and Joya Koch, he has two older sisters: Ashleigh and Michelle. His father was a deputy prosecutor in Wayne County who took some of Detroit’s most notorious criminals to court, who died in 2001 .
“It was like my first introduction to acting because I liked going to court with him and watching him work. When he was presenting cases it was almost like he was doing monologues.”
remembers Koch about his father.
Trajectory
Alexander graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School in 2006 , during this time he was heavily involved in both local community theater and high school productions. He attended DePaul University School of Drama and immersed himself in productions such as A Lie of the Mind , Hair , Intimate Apparel , Normal , Assassins, and Reefer Madness : The Musical. In 2012 she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in acting. He made his feature film debut as Frank in Eddie O’Keefe’s independent short , The Ghosts .
He enjoys working with music and images when acting and admits to using songs to give more emphasis to his characters.
“It just makes the dialogue so much stronger if you have a different image in your mind.”
, He says. He enjoys writing, playing the guitar, listening to music, and collecting vinyl records.
The 22 of January of 2013 , it was announced that Koch was hired to play “Junior” Rennie CBS series, Under the Dome , adapted from the novel of the same name written by Stephen King .
