During the third act of Baldur’s Gate 3, which marks your arrival at the famous Baldur’s Gate, you will immediately stumble upon a street circus in the Lower Town of Rivington. By visiting this place, you can buy various items, play mini-games and participate in other competitions of the Circus of the Last Days. Honestly, it’s a nice respite from the dark lands of the Towers of the Moon in Act II.
However, as you might expect, the cheerful atmosphere will soon be dispelled when you stumble upon the next Absolute slaves, after which you will have to play the worst game of hide and seek with the clown Drop, whose body parts are scattered throughout the city. Putting aside the dark humor, let’s get down to business and try to find all the parts of the clown’s body, for which there is a special reward.
While you can begin searching for Blob the Clown’s body parts at any time, there are a few steps you need to complete to begin the quest itself. First, go to the Blob’s clown show at the Circus of Latter Days at coordinates X:-42, Y:-36. As you approach the stage, the performance will begin and you will be asked to get on stage. In general, regardless of whether you go up there voluntarily or not, you will soon realize that the blob clown is actually a mutant doppelgänger, a minion of the Absolute. This will begin the battle against him and his comrades.
After killing all the enemies, talk to Lucretia at coordinates X:-76, Y:-34, who is the head of the circus. The woman (or man) will grieve for the Blob and ask you to find the clown (or the remaining parts of his body, if you have already found at least one, in the hope of his resurrection).
In addition, the death of the Blob intersects with the “Investigate Murders” quest, which begins in the Temple of the Open Hand. To avoid wasting time, be sure to take both quests.
Clown’s severed hand Drops
You can find the first part of the body of the clown Drop literally immediately after talking with Lucretia. Go to the nearest Popper’s stall in the Last Days Circus area (coordinates X:-90, Y:-55) and find Blob’s severed hand on the plate. For example, you can choose a character with a high level of stealth who can sneak inside and pick up an item unnoticed. However, if you pick him up without trying to act stealthily, a conversation will begin with Popper, in which you can either intimidate or convince him (skill check 15 units) to give up his hand for free.

The next piece of the puzzle must be found in the depths of the city. Head to the Basilisk Gate marker at coordinates X:-135, Y:-38, then head northeast through the alley to find a locked double door. Successfully pass a Burglary check (15 counts) to reveal a crime scene. Among other things, you can find the pelvis of the clown Drop on one of the corpses.

Then head to the small barricaded building east of the Magic Supplies store at coordinates X:32, Y:-98. You can get here by heading east from the Lower City Central Wall fast travel point located at coordinates X:-52, Y:-53. Look in the mailbox near this house to get another Soul Coin. Destroy the barricade to get inside, then move (break) the chest in the corner to reveal a secret hatch that needs to be cracked (check requires 15 units). Go down to the basement and find another chilling murder scene. Here, on the corpse in the center of the room, you can find the hand of the clown Drop.

Return to the fast travel point “Central Wall of the Lower City” at coordinates X:-52, Y:-53 and this time move due west to find Lavernika’s house (coordinates X:-77, Y:-69). Hack the door of the house (the skill check requires 15 units), find the key in the closet and open the hatch in the corner of the room. Going downstairs, you will find another crime scene. Search the dead, and on the corpse in the middle of the ritual circle you will find the leg of the clown Drops
Severed Clown Foot Drops
The severed foot of the clown can be found in Reinforst’s house at coordinates X:-93, Y:-108. The required building is located southwest of Lavernika’s house (coordinates X: -77, Y: -69), which was mentioned just above. Find the hatch again to go down into the basement and discover another place of bloodthirsty ritual murder. On the corpse on the right side will be the foot of the blob clown. Please note that this room, unlike the previous ones, is surrounded by guy wires. Notice the wire in front of the stairs and in the doorway on the left side.

The next two parts of the Drop’s body are much more difficult to find than the previous ones. The torso can be found in the cave below Serpent’s Crossing, and you have two ways to get into the correct cave.
- Option 1 – kitchen hatch in the Temple of the Open Hand. Head to the northwest corner of the Temple of the Open Hand, through the door to the right of the altar to reach the kitchen. Go through the decorated wooden hatch in the western part of the room and follow into the room with the altar. Get close to the strange signs in the northern and southern parts of the room, at which point one of your characters will need to complete a successful attention check to reveal the hidden buttons. Clicking on them will open a secret door in the eastern wall, between two statues. Follow the trail of blood to the northeast to take out some chameleon enemies. After going down to the corpses at coordinates X: 66, Y: -1026, examine the dead body of Penella Lampenix to pick up the torso of the clown Blob. The kitchen hatch is the simpler method of the two available, although, as stated above, To pass through the secret door you need to pass an attention check. If your entire party fails both or one of the checks, you will have to use the alternative method described below.
- Option 2 (alternative) – entrance to the cave on the northern shore. If you couldn’t see both buttons under the kitchen in the Temple of the Open Hand, you can instead head to the Well opposite this temple and go down into the caves. Having done this, head to the southeastern part of the caves, jumping on the stones in the water. For characters with low strength, you may need to grab potions or spells that will enhance your jumping. At the exit of the cave, use a ranged attack or spell to hit the winch. As a result, it will turn around and the sealed entrance will open. Go down to the northern shore and follow it west until you find the cave entrance at coordinates X:0, Y:79, located directly under the bridge. Depending on your status in the circle of Fire Fists, you will be able to walk straight to the cave entrance without fear. However, if you become an enemy of Gortasha and the Absolute, the mobs will take up arms against you. Once you enter the Mouth of the Cave, head south and climb the Rocky Cliffs to the corpses at coordinates X:66, Y:-1026. Examine the corpse of Penella Lampenix to pick up the torso of the Blob the Clown.

Be patient and continue through the main storyline to find the head. You’ll eventually find yourself in the ruins of the Underground City as you make your way to Orin’s hideout. Depending on your status with Orin and the Bhaal cultists, you may be attacked by Bhaal’s minions along the way – since they use invisibility and an assassin’s aura, these opponents are quite difficult to destroy.
