Standoff 2 is a free clone of the famous competitive shooter Counter-Strike for mobile devices, which allows players to divide into teams (terrorists / special forces) and fight among themselves on various maps using numerous and varied weapons.

In addition to firearms and throwing weapons, as well as various gadgets, players can use a knife. This is the only melee weapon in the game that is equally effective for every gamer. The only difference that players can achieve is related to the skins for this very knife.

First, there are 8 different types of knives, a list of which you can see below. Secondly, for each type of knife there are several skins: that is, the design and principle of operation of the knife remain the same, but their color, color and design change. Now let’s talk about the types and skins of knives in more detail.

Karambit (Karambit)

This compact melee weapon has a curved blade resembling the claw of some predatory beast. Typically, the length of such a knife varies in the region of 5-10 cm. At the base of the handle there is a hole through which the user sticks his index or thumb, which provides a unique direct grip of the weapon. The popularity of karambit is associated with its appearance in CS:GO.

Butterfly

A butterfly knife is often called a balisong. This is a folding weapon, the blade of which can be hidden in the U-shaped parts of the handle, followed by hinged fixation. Hence the name. If you look into history, then some people claim that the knife was allegedly created by fishermen from the Philippines, while others – by Europeans in the 17th century. The butterfly is often used to perform various tricks with spectacular opening and closing of the blade. This trick is called flipping, and it is played in a competitive shooter.

Bayonet (M9 Bayonet)

Timeless classic. The bayonet-knife, invented in the 17th century, often complements assault rifles and machine guns. The bayonet from the game is based on the OKC-3S bayonet used by the US Marines since 2003.

Kunai

It was this legendary weapon that the no less legendary warrior Scorpion used in the Mortal Kombat universe. On the other hand, the kunai is a professional ninja weapon, although it was originally used in everyday life by farmers and masons as a scrap or harvesting tool. The blade on the kunai is sharpened on both sides.

Jay Commando (jKommando)

The unusual execution of this melee weapon is associated with the use of a spiral blade that has three sharpened edges at once. These knives are used by special forces from Austria. Inflicts very severe, lacerations, incompatible with life.

Scorpion

This cutting melee weapon is equipped with a small blade, which is due to the peculiarity of its use: it is usually used by the Assassins. It resembles a flipper folding knife, but it cannot be folded, and the blade is about 1/3 smaller than the handle.

FlipKnife / Flipper

The tail of the blade rises above the handle, so the knife can be quickly opened and used. This is a compact weapon, easy to use, equipped with a small rim under the blade. This side is used for a stronger grip, and also protects its owner from accidental injuries. The flipper has four holes in the handle area.

Tanto (Tanto)

A Japanese weapon equipped with a one-sided wide blade, the length of which can reach 30 cm. The handle is approximately the same length or more. Tanto differs significantly from other types of weapons. This is no longer a knife at all, and its dimensions turn the tanto into a chopping weapon.

How to get knives in standoff 2

There are several ways to get new knives and their skins. Legal methods will be discussed below, but do not forget about using cheats like hacked versions. However, such actions will certainly lead to a ban, so you will use them at your own peril and risk.

Briefly about the possible ways to get knives:

1. Trading

The first method of getting knives in Standoff 2 is trading. The whole process of trading is very complicated, not many gamers want to delve into it, and therefore ignore it. Your task is to buy skins at the lowest prices, and then sell them many times more expensive. But in this case, you will have to donate at least once or twice, because you will need gold, and you will not earn it by selling any little thing. As soon as you donate and get gold, follow the auction and look for the most profitable lots. This will take a lot of time, you will have to monitor the market manually. Autobuy consists of several thousand gamers trying to buy weapons at a better price. Therefore, it does not suit you.

Then you can participate in various competitions. They are usually organized in thematic groups, on YouTube channels, and so on. All you have to do is subscribe and leave a like. However, the probability of winning is as low as possible, and the organizers are not always decent (the whole competition can be a hoax).

You can also create new accounts and transfer the skins received there for free to the main account. In principle, this method is the most effective, especially if you have few skins and practically no gold. Use Facebook or Google accounts to create new accounts in the game. Then, by opening a free case, you transfer the item to the main account using trading. However, the skin can be bought by someone else, so the process is rather complicated.

You can view ads by opening your inventory and clicking on the plus sign next to the amount of current silver. Select “Watch Video”. For each video you will receive 5 silver. You can watch up to three videos at a time. If you want more, you can go for the trick and set the current date on your phone a day ahead. So you can repeat as many times as you like. Autoclickers make it easier to view ads, although you still have to manually change the date.

After each match you will receive silver. But in order for this income to be significant, it is important to win these games, kill as many enemies as possible (fill frags).

All of the above methods have the right to exist, however, in my opinion, the most effective is the creation of new accounts, followed by the opening of a free case and the transfer of the desired skin to the main account through the trading platform.
