Estradiol (Prefest)
Estradiol is one of the active ingredients in a drug recommended for reducing menopause discomfort, sold commercially under the name Prefest.
Indications
Menopause, vulvovaginal atrophy, prevention of osteoporosis.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, breast tumor, bleeding, thrombophlebitis.
Adverse effects
Breast pain, vaginal bleeding, dysmenorrhea, vaginitis, depression, insomnia, migraine, fatigue, uterine polyp, overweight, edema, anemia.
Mode of use
From day 1 to day 3: 1 estradiol tablet.
From day 4 to day 6: 1 estradiol tablet + 1 norgestimate estradiol tablet. And so on, according to the markings made on the medicine pack
