Rewards are a way to encourage good behavior and a competitive spirit. This is why our school organizes the awards ceremony every year to encourage its students. So today we are mainly here to give awards in six categories which include excellence in academics, sports and arts, participating in school exhibitions, debating and participating in other social events. The prizes to be distributed today are being given not only to recognize those students who have excelled in their academic field but also to honor the students who have done sports, Excelled in the performing arts and visual arts and who were active in various social events. My greetings to all of you members of our school committee, honorable judges, staff, parents and dear students. I feel very honored to share the achievements of all you talented young students. This is an occasion of happiness for all of us as we all have gathered today to celebrate this auspicious day. This award ceremony is one of the most valuable opportunities of the school as it gives us an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the previous year, to address the entire community and our school’s achievements, success in the coming days And allows sharing of plans.
Our school believes that good education plays an important role in creating a bright future for children. So we are committed to providing our students a good environment here where they can all get education of good values and learn new things every day. I am very happy that our school committee members and teachers have left no stone unturned to work in this direction. On this important occasion we get the opportunity to publicly celebrate the success achieved through the hard work and perseverance of both our students and teachers.
Our student has not only excelled in academics but has also excelled in extra-curricular activities such as sports, drama, artefacts, organizing school events and many other things. Ladies and Gentlemen, our media partners, sponsors, distinguished officials and our talented athletes! I welcome all of you to the sports award ceremony of this institution.
It is my privilege to have the opportunity to host this event which is celebrated to commemorate the achievements of our teams, officials and athletes. The ceremony showcases the commitment of all the members that they showed in the December 2016 sports competition last year. Last year was indeed a very busy year for all of us as we worked hard to make this competition successful. Our young athletes competed in all four major sports table tennis, karate, cycling and indoor football and achieved success. We are very proud of your achievements.
Today we are here to announce the lucky winners of the 12 major awards and to praise the victories of our laudable award recipients. Congratulations to all the players who played in the final games. You have definitely raised the standards of sports for other sportspersons of this organization. We hope that you will achieve success in your respective sports career and other fields too.
Babe Ruth has rightly said, “When a team plays together, its success is certain. You may have different big stars in the world, but if they don’t play together then the club wins. Will never have luck. ” Our football team has proved that victory is certain in the game when the players have played together. Due to his great efforts, the team received the second prize at the national level event held in Pune and gave another opportunity to make our institution proud.

Greetings to everyone present in the auditorium,
Honorable Chief Guest, Honored Directors, Madam Chiefs, Members of the Committee, Dear Parents, Teachers and Students.
I am SS, your host of this evening of awards and today I warmly welcome you all on behalf of the PQR School. It is an occasion of honor and happiness for us where you are being rewarded and appreciated for the hard work done by the students of class X in the board examination.
Education is not within the four walls of the classroom and our school is very fortunate to have teachers and coaches who recognize this. In fact if any school has two pillars of building and teacher then all of you students are definitely the third pillar.
Therefore today the school will be awarded scholarships on the basis of percentage marks obtained by the students and all those students who worked hard but could not achieve their goals. I feel very fortunate to welcome you to this ceremony where the students are being encouraged.
So first of all welcome our esteemed guest Mr. Bhushan, who is the District Magistrate (DM) of our region, with the applause. Mr. Bhushan is someone who is very much involved in news and discussions these days. Ever since he took over, we all know about the historical changes he has made. Because of them, there is a wave of development, security, literacy in the entire district.

So here I welcome you to the school’s 7th “Student of the Year (Best Student of the Year Award)” ceremony.
Children are our future and to brighten our future we need to recognize the hidden talent of these children. Taking the idea forward, the school is determined to commend students who have not only excelled in education but also excelled in photography, singing, writing, sports, art or any other field. Our school is not only looking for educational qualifications but also in pursuit of personal qualities like leadership qualities like teamwork, determination, flexibility, self-confidence and respect etc. of students to help them become a responsible citizen of the society.
