Warface: Special Operation “Eclipse”

Special operation “Eclipse” of the Warface game: passing the mission on difficulty “Pro”, interesting facts, awards and achievements for completing

Today in the MMO-shooter Warface an update was released, which included the special operation ” Eclipse “. Eclipse is a continuation of Operation Anubis. Many have already played it on PTS and completed at all difficulty levels, but can you?

Preparation and interesting facts

  • Special operation “Eclipse” consists of only four cards. At first glance, it may seem that this is not enough. In terms of travel time, it is not inferior to the special operation “Volcano”.
  • Weapons from the Zombie Slayerseries would be ideal for this special operation. Complete Black Shark on Pro to earn it.
  • Gold and crown weapons have great damage to zombies. This is just a note.
  • It is preferable to go with a team of three attack aircraft, a medic and a sniper. Stormtroopers will shoot zombies, a medic will heal the living and reanimate dead soldiers, a sniper will also shoot zombies, but it will come in handy closer to the middle of the operation – to fight off Blackwood shooters.

Some gamers may be outraged that three attack aircraft are not enough, and why do we even need a sniper ?! If three stormtroopers cannot hold back the onslaught of zombies, this is the problem of the stormtroopers themselves. A sniper is essential for long distances.

  • It is advisable for an attack aircraft to equip themselves with a large-caliber machine gun with a large supply of cartridges in the clip. Take combat gear and gloves to quickly reload your weapon.
  • The Medic needs to focus on improved class equipment – a first aid kit and a defibrillator.
  • The rapid-fire semi-automatic rifle should provide the sniper with good cover both at medium range against zombies and at long range against enemy infantry.

A car

The Warface team appears in the final map of Operation Anubis. Your squad must wait for the evacuation car. Group up in one corner to destroy zombies. Shooting them will not be difficult, since there will be few of them. As soon as you get into the car, it will start.

Don’t let the zombies get inside. Don’t underestimate the stormtroopers at the top. Distribute inside the car: two fighters in the back, two on the sides. Medic in the center or on the steps of the entrance.

Soon the signal from the headquarters will disappear from Warface and the engine will stall. Zombies will start jumping into the transport. At first, these will be the usual prototypes, followed by a portion of screamers. Get into crossfire spots to avoid hurting each other. Having dealt with them, you will find yourself in the desert.

Desert

Walk to the bunker, from which the path leads through the village to the ancient ruins. Stick together and work your way to the rally points, “making your way” along the light bombs. Oberon, who intercepted the signal, says not for nothing that one should not meddle in the darkness. The streak of life will begin to decrease if you go far from the light. Choose the optimal distance from the light block to darkness and keep it.

Take your time, distribute and shoot the arriving zombies. Don’t let the corpses overtake you, keep them at a distance. Accurate head shooting will save time and ammo.

After passing several collection points, go up the hill. Stormtroopers, soldiers, grenade launchers and elite Blackwood snipers are already waiting for you. This is where the Sniper class fighter comes in handy. This location has armored vehicles that can be used as cover. Soldiers and stormtroopers have huge damage, and hits from elite snipers knock you down. Also, enemy fighters can come close to you or throw grenades.

If you are using combat or elite equipment, sit back after gunfights to restore armor and health points.

Go to the bunker entrance gate. Electric current is passed through them – try not to lean. Take your time to deal with the soldiers remaining near the bunker and go inside.

Bunker

Turrets will appear from places (highlighted with red lights). In parallel with this, partitions for shelter will leave on the sides. Distribute among them. The first wave of turrets consists of moray eels. The second wave is cobras. Destroy the infantry from behind cover, then deal with the turrets.

Places where turrets will spawn

The last, third wave is centipede. Destroy the distant turret to clear the cover and shoot the Blackwood soldiers.

Having coped with the task, stick to the bunker. Having mastered the first wave of zombies, go to the exit gate and meet the second. As soon as you destroy the next shaft of ghouls, a third will overtake you on the way out of the gate. Exit through the gate and head towards the hill. From it, you can already see the laser pointers on the enemy’s weapons. Deal with them and go to the collection point.

Village

The tactics of passing through the village are the same as in the desert. We are distributed, we shoot zombies, we pass to the collection point. Blackwood fighters will be added to the zombies. Be careful, sigma and screamers are knocked down. After several collection points, MINES will appear on the ground , sounding a signal when the player approaches. Entering the location in front of the hill, the entire map will be filled with snipers and attack aircraft, and after them zombies will appear. Go up the hill. Now zombies appear not only along the route, but also from the rear. To all the rest will be added Kamikaze. At the entrance to the ancient ruins, you can try to run up the stairs and from there kill the enemies that appear.

Ancient ruins

Destroy zombies and move deep into the ruins. Stormtroopers will appear in the passage after the corridor. Enter the large open room.

Here he is, the unprecedented “boss” of the special operation – Enigma . This is a modernization of the early designs of cybernetic zombies. Due to their lightweight metal frame, the Enigma can travel long distances in a short time. The structure is equipped with powerful laser weapons that inflict great damage at long distances. The vulnerable spot is the area of the capsule with the pilot. To kill this creation of Blackwood engineers, you need to quickly work with the whole group in the area of the capsule. If the zombie managed to reach the fighter, then with one blow he will put him on the floor.

If you see that the enemy is running towards you, put your back against the wall. You will not receive less damage from this, but you will not be knocked down either.

Now you need to turn off zombie production. A hole appears in the floor – jump there. Find the exit and go upstairs. Several fighters must restrain the ghouls appearing from the doors, while one activates the panel. Doing so will explode the wall on the right side. Activate the second door in the same way. When you get to the generator room, lock the door on the first floor, on the second – turn off the electricity. During this, zombies will appear from all sides. Move towards the collection point.

Blackwood base

Your group appears between the rocks, a passage leads to the Blackwood military base. Proceed carefully, all the way to the base is MINED from the very beginning . Stormtroopers and arrows will attack you right on the course.

Mined passage

Having reached an open area, wait for enemy fighters arriving on jetpacks – hereinafter RR. You do not need to stand close to each other, it is worth spreading out on the map. Try to shoot the enemy on the RR until he lands. After that, a Mammoth turret will appear in the center of the map . The Shield Bearers will emerge from the passages to the sides and rear .

Having figured it out, go downstairs. Now your task is to destroy the Mk.II Rotary Wing , which the players have already met during the Icebreaker special operation. Tactics : distribute so that several players destroy the infantry that appear on the RR. The rest must shoot down the aircraft with a rocket launcher . Do not forget to use the homing function – it will simplify the task at hand.

The final

The take-off site has been destroyed. The last fight is very difficult , especially at the maximum difficulty level. You need to know the order of the enemy spawn:

  1. One Enigma will appear after the rally point.
  2. Immediately after it, on the same side, there are two cyber zombies.
  3. Fighters on the RR.
  4. The second wave of opponents on the RR + grenade launchers at the top.
  5. Two Enigma.
  6. After reaching the control point, shoot the fighters on the top: soldiers, attack aircraft.
  7. Two waves of soldiers on the RR.
  8. Zombies Enigma will appear from the rear, you need to change the location to destroy them.
  9. Grenade launchers at the top.
  10. Step back, Enigma will appear where you stand.
  11. Change positions again, now the zombies will go from the rear.
  12. Infantry and saboteurs. These are the last forces of the enemy, destroying them – the operation will end.

What is important to know:

  • Don’t let the cyber zombies come close, try to destroy them from a distance by shooting at the capsule with the pilot.
  • Don’t run randomly around the map. Distribute behind shelters, there is enough space for everyone.
  • Quickly destroy the arriving enemy forces on the RR and the fighters on top.
  • Change positions in time with the appearance of cyber zombies.
