Detailed walkthrough of story missions of the game: how to score the required number of points, secret murders, location of quest items and much more
In Hitman: Sniper, you must be as creative as possible in your kills in order to score points and / or move on to the next mission. All this is interesting, but if you do not know how to perform a specific murder or where to look for the necessary items, then you can run into problems. Even if you don’t need to get a certain kill to complete the mission, it can still be useful, allowing you to score more points and climb up the leaderboard.
To get started, here are some helpful tips to help you plan kills in advance and score more points:
- Zoom in and hold the scope on the target for 2 seconds to identify it. This will allow you to keep an eye on guards nearby.
- Use kills with surrounding objects as often as possible to stay undetected.
- Move bodies out of sight. You can use additional bullets to shoot dead bodies by throwing them into a pool or through a broken window.
- Distract the guards by using various environmental objects such as glass, electricity, and so on.
- Be patient.
Chapter 1
The first chapter has a total of 10 missions. While some of them have the same ultimate goal, additional tasks are added to them.
Mission 1
- Kill Marcus Krug
As simple as possible. Take a moment and explore the controls.
Mission 2
- Score 75,000 points
- Get 2 headshots
- Kill Basia Romanovski
The easiest way to do this is to kill Marcus Krug and his bodyguards with the help of the entourage so that no one suspects anything. This will easily earn you over 200,000 points. Just wait for the Circle to come out onto the balcony with their bodyguard and shoot the fire lamp to their left. Once you do this, kill the lone guard with a headshot (near the vans, for example). And then be sure to finish off Basia with a headshot to complete the task.
Mission 3
- Kill 4 guards
- Kill Yaroslav Benak
The task may seem daunting at first, but in reality, everything is easily accomplished, without the need to separate bodyguards or hide bodies. Can kill enemies using the environment. And here you can apply a double kill, which will come in handy in the future.
Pay attention to the guard at the vans. Not far from him, on one of the balconies, there is another enemy. Shoot the van on the right (closer to the light) to turn on the alarm. Move the sight to the balcony and wait for the guard to lean against the glass. As soon as he does this, shoot at the glass so that it falls on the enemy, who is studying the van. Instant double murder and no suspicion!
Zoom out as you can still kill the Circle and his bodyguard with the surroundings. Select the fourth guard, then destroy Benak. Do not forget about the possibility to hide bodies, shooting at them in order to move them off the edge of the cliff.
Mission 4
- Get rid of the body in the jacuzzi
- Kill Marcus Krug
The mission allows you to take a break. It’s simple. Here you can score extra points by killing side targets. If this does not interest you, just destroy the guard in front of the Jacuzzi and a little to the left. An accurate headshot is enough for him to automatically fall into the water. After that, kill the Circle at any time.
Mission 5
- Score 125,000 points
- Do not raise the alarm
- Kill Balthazar Cabasso
Don’t be surprised by the high score, as in this mission you will be taking kills from previous missions. You need to earn 125,000 before the quest is completed, so before killing Cabasso, start recruiting them. Perform a double kill while distracting a guard with a car alarm, just like in Mission 3.
Kill the Circle and his bodyguard using the environment. Deal with all the guards near dangerous objects of the environment so as not to arouse suspicion. Then wait for the bodyguards to return to their daily routine. The fact is that they can raise the alarm due to too much activity, when you kill one by one, even with the help of the environment. Look for distant enemies and shoot them one by one. When you collect the required number of points, then deal with Balthazar.
Mission 6
- Activate the car alarm to distract the guard and kill him by luring him into a trap
- Kill Yaroslav Benak
You should be familiar with the car alarm circuit from the description of the third mission. Shoot the white van on the right to turn on the alarm. Take your time to kill the guard studying the van, but instead shoot at the glass on the balcony above it when a second enemy appears behind. Thus, you will commit a double kill, earning additional points.
Having done this, you can kill Yaroslav Benak in any convenient way, which will lead to the completion of the mission. If you want to score even more points, we recommend that you kill agent Kevin Borts, located at the bottom of the map.
Mission 7
- Shoot twice at the fuse box and get “Explosion Kill”
- Kill Demetrius Lefkos
The assignment can seem daunting if you don’t know where the fuse box is. You must shoot him to destroy it. The first shot at the fuse box will automatically grab the attention of the nearest enemy. He will come up to him. Shoot at the block again when the guard is nearby to destroy it. Despite the fact that after that you can just take and kill Dimitri Lefkos, it would be nice to earn extra points for side activities.
Mission 8
- Get $ 350,000 (Bronze Level 2 Promotion)

Here you will need to apply all your skills and knowledge gained in previous missions in order to commit as many murders as possible without warning of your presence. We recommend the following kills:
- double murder with a car alarm;
- the murder of Marcus Krug and his bodyguard by the entourage;
- the murder of agent Kevin Borts;
- additional kills by the environment.
You can destroy additional targets, including Kruga and Romanovski, to increase the score. But be careful not to be discovered until the primary target is eliminated.
Mission 9
- Kill Marcus Krug with a glow lamp explosion
This task can be completed very quickly, or you can play for time and earn extra points. At various times, Markus Krug is near the incandescent lamp, so it all depends on how quickly you want to move on to the next mission. You can kill the Circle the first time he comes to the lamp, but before that it is advisable to commit a few secondary kills.
You can almost immediately destroy the rogue agent, and then commit a double murder using car alarms and glass. At this point, you can kill the Circle standing on the ledge. If you miss it, then do not automatically fail, as it will again be near the lamp, but a little later. You can use the lamp near the pool. You will get extra points for completing the mission sooner, so don’t overdo it.
Mission 10
- Get 400,000 points including 1 headshot while moving
- Kill Yaroslav Benak
The task is difficult because you cannot complete it only with the help of kills with the environment. It is important to score points before completing a mission because the bonuses after completing it will not be included. However, this does not mean that both goals cannot be achieved if most of the killing is not committed at the expense of the environment. You can kill Yaroslav Benak himself at the moment of movement with an accurate headshot.
We recommend you get the following kills:
- double with car alarm;
- the entourage – Marcus Krug and his bodyguard;
- one shot of two guards next to Agent Kevin Borts (shoot in the head of the bodyguard in the foreground);
- Borts will start running away, and you will be able to kill him and complete the “headshot on a moving target” task (do not forget to hold your breath, thereby slowing down the time); try to aim ahead, not directly at the head.
Continue killing enemies with the surroundings until you reach 400,000 points. After that, kill Benak to complete the first chapter.

Chapter 2
As with the first chapter, the second consists of 10 main missions.
Mission 1
- Search 3 houses and destroy 5 laptops
- Kill Vincent Krug
One is in the building at the left edge, the other is on the right. Look for the third at the bottom of the map to the left of the red carpet. The last two laptops are located in the main complex: on the floor above the pool table and in the room under the bartender. After dealing with them, kill Vincent Krug.
Mission 2
- Earn 300,000 points in 3 minutes
- Kill Basia Romanovski
The easiest way to do this is to commit murder by the entourage of Marcus Krug and his bodyguard, so as not to arouse suspicion. This will easily earn you 200,000 points. Just wait for the Circle to come out onto the balcony with the bodyguard, and then shoot the fire lamp to their left. Once you do this, kill the lone guard with a headshot – for example, the one near the vans. Then be sure to kill Basia with an accurate headshot.
Mission 3
- Kill the guard through the scenery to get the X-ray kill
- Kill Demetrius Lefkos
This time, you need to pay more attention to the environment, and also try to make decisions as quickly as possible. We recommend using instinct (the “eye” icon on the left) to see the guards through various obstacles and understand what objects you can shoot through. Three easy places to reach the first goal are shown in the screenshot below.
If you want to complete the task quickly, then aim at the bodyguard who walks with the Circle (the leftmost bush). Just before they get to the bush, use instinct and slow them down with focus (lung icon on the right). You can get the kill you want. If you skip this moment, there will be another opportunity when the enemies will pass through the next bush.
Mission 4
- Get 80,000 points with 1 shot
- Kill Balthazar Cabasso
This mission is not as difficult as it might seem. You can get the required 80,000 points in one shot! By this point in the game, you have performed similar actions many times. You cannot use additional shots to distract enemies or gain points, since only one bullet can be fired during the entire mission.
Thus, the easiest thing is to pay attention to good old Marcus Krug and his bodyguard. Shoot the fire lamp to get enough points. After that, you can gain additional points by shooting as many times as you like. The main thing is that the first 80,000 are earned with just one shot.
Mission 5
- Kill a guard about to raise the alarm to get an interrupt kill
- Kill Omid Maklouf
Since you will have to kill the guard trying to call for reinforcements, you will need to give yourself away. In other words, you want a guard for something or someone, thereby prompting you to call for help. You will have to kill him at the moment when the icon of the “red phone” is above your head, so be patient. This can be done at several points, since you need the guard either to find the killed ally, or to be personally present at the time of the massacre.
One way is to immediately kill the rogue agent on the bench and let one of the two guards patrolling the area see it. As soon as the “red phone” icon appears over his head, then immediately finish off the villain. Wait for the guard on the right to come to notice the murder and finish him off. Thus, you have fulfilled the first requirement without worrying about the flight of Omid Maklouf.
If you want to kill the head of security, then look for the “blue phone” icon. Then find the enemy on the map and finish off, receiving an additional bonus. Then eliminate Omid himself.
Mission 6
- Get 5 kills on moving targets
- Kill Dr. Ralph Ashbury
The first requirement is to get 5 kills on moving targets. But it is not explicitly stated here whether these killings should be direct. Thus, you can use kills with the environment.
First, it can be done with Marcus Krug and his bodyguard. However, shoot at the lamp while they are still moving towards it. It must explode before they can stop.
Second, get 2 more kills with the guards moving alongside the rogue agent. If you cannot destroy them before they reach the top of the stairs, then be patient and wait for them to start moving in the opposite direction. You can not kill one of them while he is examining the body (unless in an emergency, when someone wants to call for reinforcements). The fifth kill can be done with the guard near the pool. Just shoot the light source to get an ambient kill. Complete it all by killing the moving Dr. Ashbury.
Mission 7
- Score 450,000 points
- Get 3 quick kills
The task is not difficult, but some difficulties can arise if you do not know how to quickly kill three targets. For example, it may be tempting to kill two guards from an agent and the agent himself. However, this will not count as a quick kill.
The easiest way to complete the task is to start with Marcus Krug and his bodyguard. This time, wait for them to stop at the first bridge, and then shoot at the light source. As soon as you do this, scroll the camera to the right to the people playing at the pool table. Take a shot. By the time the explosion occurs, the second bullet fired will hit the man at the pool table in the head. The mission will complete immediately, so there is no need to worry about detection.
Mission 8
- Get 5 targeted kills
- Kill Kim Euston
In fact, four targeted assassinations need to be committed, and the fifth will be the elimination of Kim Euston. Here you need to carefully choose your goals, constantly observing them and having patience. Start with Markus Krug and Basia Romanovski. Make sure to check both characters. Kill the Circle first when he and his bodyguard begin to leave. Romanovski will remain isolated at one of their meeting points. You can safely kill her, since no one will appear here.
Next, look at the laptop above the pool table. Wait for the lights to turn on and eliminate the next target, Vincent Krug, as he looks at the laptop. The last two targets are easier to kill. Although there are other options as well. Wait for Kim Euston to walk past the pool and the person she is talking to becomes another target. Remove both enemies.
Mission 9
- Score 330,000 points
- No recharge
- Kill Vincent Krug
At the moment this is a very simple task, and you can earn 330,000 points in literally 2 shots. You can try to do it yourself. If you are looking for an easy way, then simply use the kill by the entourage of Marcus Krug and his bodyguard, which will bring 253,000 points. Then, kill Basia Romanovski with one accurate headshot for a total of 341,000 points. After that, kill Vincent Krug.
Mission 10
- Kill Marcus Krug …
- … and 8 guards
Since you know that there is always one enemy walking with Marcus Circle, it remains to kill 7 more targets. After them, you can get rid of the Circle. The first two guards can be killed at the same time: we are talking about the same scheme with a car alarm described in “Mission 3”. Then kill the two guards near the rogue agent. Be sure to get rid of it as well. Use environmental kills to deal with the bodyguard on the top floor by shooting the light source. Finally, deal with two more targets on the right by the pool. You can now finish off Marcus Krug and his bodyguard, which will lead to the end of the second chapter.
