Vanessa was born in Salinas , California ( United States ), but grew up in San Diego . She is the daughter of Gina Guangco and Greg Hudgens . He has a younger sister, Stella Hudgens. His father is American-Irish and of Native American descent. His mother, who grew up in Manila ( Philippines ) has Philippine, Peruvian and Chinese descent. He studied at home after finishing seventh grade at Orange County High School of the Arts.

Film and television

Hudgens started acting at a young age, appearing in musicals at age 8, and moved to Los Angeles after winning an audition for an advertisement. He had small roles in series like The Quintuplets , Cover Me and Still Standing among others. He made his big screen debut with the movie Thirteen , playing the role of Noel. He also appeared in the 2004 film Thunderbirds. In both roles, she dated Brady Corbet .

Controversy
