Toxin

Toxins : These are substances created by plants and animals that are poisonous or toxic to humans. They also include medications that are useful in small doses, but toxic when used in large quantities. Most toxins that cause problems in humans are secreted by microorganisms such as bacteria . For example, cholera is due to a bacterial toxin .

According to chemical properties and origin

Toxins can be divided, according to their chemical properties and according to their origin, into fundamental groups:

  • Exotoxins, which are proteinssoluble generated by pathogens , and present in bacteria , gram positive and gram negative, it has enzymes cytolytic . Three types are known:
  • Enterotoxin, which colonize the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Cytotoxins are toxins that are resistant to heat. How:
  • Chutoxins
  • Renatoxins
  • Gastrotoxins
  • Aflatoxin, produced by fungilike Amanita phalloides , Aspergillus flavus or Aspergillus parasiticus , can contaminate seeds and nuts with carcinogenic substances .

According to the parties they attack and their consequences

They can also be divided according to the parts they attack and their consequences:

  • Hemolysin: Attacks the blood(preventing it from clotting) and destroys tissues and organs.
  • Stomostoxin: Causes severe pain.
  • Necrotoxin: A substance produced by certain strains of staphylococcithat destroys tissue cells .
  • Neurotoxin: Attacks the nervous system.
  • Conotoxin: Causes paralysis.
  • Atraxicotoxin: Causes an increase in heart rateblood pressure, and suffocation .
  • Cardiotoxin: Causes heartattacks , suffocation, cardio-respiratory arrest and heart attacks.
  • Myotoxin: Attacks the muscles.
  • Batraciotoxina or Batracotoxina: It is the most lethal of all, it is produced by the poison dart frog , in addition to the pitui that produces the so-called homobatracotoxin with similar effects.

Causes of increased toxins in the body

  • A sedentary life, lack of exercise leads to a decrease in metabolismand lack of energy.
  • Not having a balanced diet, some of the foods that we consume today are mostly processed (fast food) lacking nutrientsand natural fibers that help digestive processes.
  • If we add that we overeat, causing our body to work too much, the digestive system does not do its correct job accumulating poorly digested food and the fearsome toxins.
  • Not drinking enough water a day.
  • Some medicines because the digestive systemloses its balance and affects the intestinal flora .
  • Eating at night is even worse, because when we sleep a cellular repair and internal cleaning are carried out. If we eat dinner, this process is not done because energy is used to digest

To remove toxins from the body

To eliminate toxins, it is necessary to ingest water to neutralize them, also eliminate them through the skin ( sweat ) and exercise.

Lack of water is the worst for our body if we are made up of 75% water, it is necessary to cleanse our body, eliminating toxins and metabolic waste. It is recommended to take 8 to 10 glasses a day to thoroughly clean. The water must be pure, as some toxins seep into contaminated water. Take care that it is 100% drinkable and boiled.
