- Logically, to start learning to read at least the child has to know the alphabet or at least recognize the letters. Let them know what letter each one is, because once they know them they can then phonetically combine them by reading syllables.
- To achieve this, start by teaching them the capital letters, as they are more straight, have less ornaments and are separated from each other and therefore are easier to remember.
