Tim Allen was born in 1953 in Denver Colorado, United States. He is the son of Martha Catherine, a community center worker, and Gerald M. Dick, a real estate agent. His father died when Tim was 11 years old, in a car accident. Two years later, her mother married her high school boyfriend, a successful executive, moving with their children to Birmingham Michigan.
