How to create original sounds on TikTok

The sounds you found on TikTok don’t fully satisfy you or are you going to go a step further by producing original audio yourself , in the hope that they will also be used by other tiktokers? No problem, TikTok gives you the possibility to record audio tracks to be superimposed on your personal videos or other clips to parody them or to launch new challenges.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Open TikTokand access the video editor ;
2. Record the clipyou would like to publish;
3. Confirm that you want to proceed with editingby pressing the red check mark (bottom right).

As you can see, two items will appear on the right bar:

• Voice Effects : to apply effects to the original audio of the video;
• Dubbing : to superimpose a second recording on the original one (leaving the checkbox on “ Keep the original sound ”) or to record a new audio.

Once you have made all the necessary changes, click on ” Next ” and proceed with the publication, also remembering to respect the best times to post on TikTok .

In this case, I recommend that you publish the video in “Private” mode (on the video properties summary page, choose “Who can view this video” and then tap “Private”). After that, you will need to:
