P 723. Variety of rice introduced in 1980 by the Grain Research Institute (IIGrano) from Colombia , through the Genetic Improvement Program. This variety was developed from the cross of IR930-2 / IR822-432. It reaches an agricultural yield that exceeds 5.2 t / ha in the wet season and 7.0 t / ha in the dry season.
