Biographical synthesis
Born on 16 of September of 1968 in New York is an American singer of Puerto Rican descent. His real name is Marco Antonio Muñiz, who was chosen by his father, Felipe, for the famous Mexican singer of the same name, (with whom he also shares a surname) later he would change it to Marc Anthony to avoid confusion. Marc has seven siblings and although his parents separated when he was a teenager, he tries to stick with his family. Marc had a normal and happy childhood full of music, of gatherings of friends and family, who got together to talk and sing.
Love life

Marc Anthony has achieved a total of nine gold and platinum records: his albums “Contra La Corriente”, “Todo A Su Tiempo” and “Marc Anthony” have all obtained gold records; with the latter he obtained four platinum records, and the songs “I Need To Know” and “You Sang To Me” also received gold records. His album “Contra La Corriente” was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album in 1998 .
