Historical aspects
Even some of the species that gave rise to primitive man used some types of tools. The homo sapiens learned to develop or improve multiple tools that helped to ensure their livelihood, first of wood, bone and stone after, and finally metal and other materials.
Our original inhabitants used axes, hammers, scrapers, knives, diggers, holes, arrows, nets, traps, vessels, etc., all of obvious use for agriculture and hunting and fishing.
Cutting and clearing tools
The most common are: the machete and the mocha for cutting plants and weeding; the ax for cutting and chopping thick-stemmed trees and shrubs; the sickle for cutting plants or ears of grain; the adze to match or lower wooden pins; different types of saws for cutting wood; scissors to prune and cut fruits; grafting knives and other jobs etc.
Tillage and cultivation tools
The piocha and the pico are used to break the ground; the fork to remove the earth; the drill to open holes for transplanting postures and placing posts; the hoe or guataca for weeding, hilling, construction of trenches and trenches and other tasks; the rakes to break up and level the ground; the shovel to move earth and other materials.
