Katheryn Winnick ( Etobicoke , 17 of December of 1977 ) is an actress Canadian , best known for her role Lagertha in the series Vikings (TV series) .

Early years
Winnick was born in Etobicoke , Ontario . Of Ukrainian descent, she is fluent in several languages: Ukrainian , Russian , French , Italian and English .
He began training in martial arts at age 7 and achieved his first black belt at 13. He is a black belt (third dan) in taekwondo , a black belt (second dan) in karate , and a licensed bodyguard March 1, 2013 | Thanks to his martial arts schools, he began to train actors and actresses, which allowed him to enter the environment.
Race
He has appeared in numerous films including Failure to Launch (opposite Matthew McConaughey ), Amusement , Love & Other Drugs, and Killers .
He has participated in television series such as House MD (in the episode One Day, One Room ), Law & Order , CSI and Criminal Minds . In the series Bones, she played war correspondent Hannah Burley, in charge of covering the Afghanistan War , and eventual love interest of protagonist Seeley Booth .
She starred opposite Paul Giamatti’s dramatic comedy Cold Souls , which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009 and for which he learned to speak Russian. He finished filming the Oscar-winning Rob Legato Choose (with Kevin Pollak and Bruce Dern ).
In 2013 she joined the History Channel show Vikings (television series) in the title role of Lagertha , a mythical figure in Viking history.
She has also collaborated on the video game Call of duty: WWII as a character and voice actor.
