Pluto TV keeps adding new channels to its free ad-based platform (AvOD). For this month of March, the platform will include the channels of Empeños a lo bestia, Pluto TV Action Kids, Rich, Pluto TV Investiga and Clubbing TV . In addition to the web, we can access content on mobiles, Smart TV and it is even possible to watch Pluto TV on Chromecast . In addition, we can also add it to Kodi , and we will explain how to do it.
Kodi allows you to install a multitude of addons to view content from other platforms, being able to centralize everything in the same app. So, how could it be otherwise, the community got down to work, and last month they launched the first addon to be able to watch Pluto TV on Kodi . With Pluto TV we access dozens of free channels, not even needing to register on the web to be able to watch series on Pluto TV and other content.
The Pluto TV addon for Kodi is in the official repository
The addon is also very easy to install, since it is available in the official Kodi repository . We remember that, with Kodi 19 Matrix , Team Kodi has changed the way it designates repositories, highlighting the official one and preventing an unofficial one from replacing an official one. Thus, the installation of official addons, and therefore legal, will always be prioritized.
To install it, we have to go to Addons> Install from repository> Video Add-ons> Pluto.TV. When clicking on Pluto.TV, the addon window will open with the description, and at the bottom we have the “install” button.
By giving it, we will be notified that several additional addons are going to be installed to be able to watch the streaming content, among which we find IPTV Manager, InputStream Helper, PVR IPTV Simple Client, Inputstream FFmpeg Direct, InputStream Adaptive and RTMP Input . If we have other addons installed to watch streaming content, we may already have some of them installed, and we may even have them all.
We can save favorite channels to have them more at hand
Once installed, we open the application, go to the Live section, and we will have the complete list of Pluto TV channels. If we left click on them, we will go directly to see them.
If we right-click, we have more options, such as adding the channel to favorites to go directly to that section and not having to go through all the available channels, to choose from a multitude of entertainment options, such as movies, series, documentaries, cartoons and much more.
