How to scan step by step with CamScanner
Obviously, in order to use the application, the first thing we have to do is download it from the Google Play application store, if you have an Android mobile, or from the Apple Store, if you are on iOS.

When downloaded from official stores, the application is installed automatically, as is usual in the apps that we get from both Google Play and the Apple Store.

As we already have it installed on our device, it is time to start using it.
- When starting the application , it asks us to register with an email or through the phone number of our device, that is up to the choice of each one. Once we have completed this process, we can start scanning. To do this, we must press the camera-shaped button that is in the lower right part of the screen.
- At this moment the camera is activated and just below the image we can choose between several types of documents to scan such as PPT, OCR, Docs (it comes by default), ID card, Book, Question book or QR code .
- We choose Docs for this example. Now we place the camera in such a way that the document is as straight as possible on the screen and click on the camera-shaped button at the bottom center of the screen.
- Now we adjust , if necessary, so that the scan fits only what we want to scan and then click on ” Next Step “.
- At that moment, a screen is created where we can treat the resulting scan with different filters , which the program calls enhancements (low, high, grayscale, B&W and B & W2). Once the enhancement is chosen, we click on ” Save “.
- In the next screen we already have the file scanned and ready to share if we click on the typical icon of this action, in the upper right. When we click on this icon, it asks us how we want to share it, whether in PDF format , JPG image, Word file or link to the document .
- If we click on the PDF icon , also located in the upper right part, we can convert the document to this format, and even put an anti-counterfeiting stamp , sign the PDF, put a password or choose the type of compression of the resulting file.
All documents are saved by default in the CamScanner cloud, which in the free version has 200 MB of storage . They are all distributed by folders, which we can rename.
It also has a search engine that, thanks to the OCR system, recognizes words even if they are as images. Also, the PDFs we create with this version come with a program watermark.
To expand the space in the cloud , suppress the watermark or pass everything that is scanned to text and export it, we must go Premium, something that has a cost of 4.99 euros per month .
