Dark Kahn is the final enemy in the story mode of the video game “Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe”, which was created as a result of the merger between the Mortal Kombat and DC universes. Although the merged character cannot be unlocked, the two characters that combine to create him during the aforementioned mixed universe, Shao Kahn (from the Mortal Kombat universe) and Darkseid (from the DC Comics universe) can be unlocked.
Shao kahn
Play through the story mode and defeat the enemies of the Mortal Kombat part of the game with any character.
Press “RB” (on Xbox 360 version) or “R1” (on PlayStation 3 version) at the character selection screen.
Select Shao Kahn as your character from the small menu that appears.
Darkseid
Play through the story mode and defeat the enemies of the DC Universe part of the game with any character.
Press “RB” (on Xbox 360 version) or “R1” (on PlayStation 3 version) at the character selection screen.
Select Darkseid as your character from the small menu that appears.
advice
If you have trouble beating the enemy Dark Kahn at the end of any part of the story mode, feel free to press the “Pause” / “Start” key just when you reach him to go to the character selection screen in order to to choose another character. Having a completely new fighting style and move set can be the extra boost you need to defeat him.
Both Shao Kahn and Darkseid do not have “fatalities” or “heroic brutalities”.
Warnings
Before starting any part of the story mode, make sure the difficulty level is set to Normal or higher, since playing the story mode on “Easy” or “Very Easy” difficulty will not can unlock Shao Kahn or Darkseid.
