When downloading a file from the internet, there are two options that we can use.
The first is without a download manager application , or in other words we will use the browser application directly to handle the download.
If the file you downloaded is not too large, then without a download manager application , there is no problem.
However, if you want to download a large file , it is highly recommended to download it using a download manager application .
Why?
Because the file download process will be accelerated, so it will be completed faster than downloading it using only a browser .
On PCs, we know an application called Internet Download Manager ( IDM ) which we already know its reliability in downloading large files .
Well, the question is, is there an application like IDM for Android?
The good news is, there is. The application is called Advanced Download Manager.
This application has features similar to IDM, the process of downloading files can also be done much faster.

How to Speed Up Downloads on Android Phones
In this Androbuntu tutorial I use an application called Advanced Download Manager to help speed up the file download process on an Android phone.

Advanced Download Manager is free to use, but there will be occasional ads.
To get rid of the ads, you can buy the pro version.
Ok, if it has been installed on your Android phone, just follow the tutorial below:
- Open the Advanced Download Manager application, then click the three line menu in the upper left corner.
- At the bottom you will find the Browsericon . Click the icon.
- Type the urlof the websitewhere you want to download the .
- On the website, click the download button on the file that you want.
- A new pop up window will appear which is a window to download the. Here you can set the filename and the location of the folder where the file will be downloaded. Please set as needed, if you have clicked the START button.
- The downloadprocess will start. Here the download will be faster because it is broken into 9 threads. So that your entire internet connection is used optimally to download the file .
