How to send voice messages on Instagram

The voice messages on Instagram can be sent in Direct , that is through the private messaging system between users of social networks.

After WhatsApp, Snapchat, iMessage and Facebook Messenger, Instagram also introduced the ability to send voice messages to your contacts. The feature was introduced on December 10, 2018 for both Android and iOS.

HOW TO SEND A VOICE MESSAGE ON INSTAGRAM

If you are wondering how to send a voice message on Instagram, read on:

  1. Log into the Instagram app and visit the profile of the person you want to send a voice message to
  2. Click on the message button
  3. Press and hold the microphone icon and record your message
  4. When you release your finger, the message will automatically be sent to the recipient
  5. If you want to DELETE it, all you have to do is swipe left at the trash can icon.

HOW TO DELETE A VOICE MESSAGE

Voice messages can be deleted either before being played back by the recipient or after listening to them. In the first case, the user to whom you sent the voice will never know its content, in the second case, you will simply make it disappear from the chat history. Note: to delete voice sent from an Android device, you need to press and hold the message instead of scrolling to the left.

So if you regret a sent vowel, be sure to delete it before it’s heard.
