How to save money at the cinema with UCI Cinemas

Here are all the promotions active in 2023 in the cinemas of the UCI Cinemas circuit.

UCI CINEMAS | Good Culture 18app

The 18app Culture Bonus can also be used to purchase tickets for the UCI Cinemas circuit.

We remind you that the current edition of the culture bonus is reserved for those born in 2004 .

The initiative is also extended to teachers: the Teacher’s Card is part of the initiative by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to promote culture.

HOW TO PURCHASE WITH 18APP ON UCI CINEMAS?

  1. Choose the rate based on the film and the date you will come to the cinema
  2. Generate the coupon of the corresponding exact value from the 18app website ( 18app.italia.it) or from the Carta del Docente website ( cartadeldocente.istruzione.it )
  3. Save the coupon on your smartphone or print it, go to the cinema on the chosen day and show the coupon to receive the entrance ticket

In order to use the coupon issued by 18app or by Carta del Docente it is necessary that the value of the same coincides exactly with the price of the ticket. It is not possible to use the voucher by paying any difference in cash.

UCI CINEMAS | Loyalty cards SKIN Ucicard

If you want to get the best out of your experience in the halls of the UCI Cinemas circuit, know that you can request one of the three ucicard SKINs according to your needs:

  • SKIN Cinema(If you are not a mum, a dad or a student, but you like cinema, discounts for you, collecting points with prizes, initiatives and promotions)
  • SKIN Family
  • SKIN Student

The cards offer many advantages, such as:

  • 1 free ticket on your birthday or in the following 7 days (n°2 if you have the SKIN Family), valid every day, for watching 2D or 3D films (glasses excluded).
  • by collecting points (by purchasing tickets for screenings and/or at the bar) you will be able to obtain superSKIN discounts which allow you to purchase tickets at the discounted price of 5.90 euros for 2D and 3D films (glasses excluded).
  • Every month at least 1 promotion reserved for SKINcardists, such as last minute, low cost films, special discounts.

Following the closure of cinemas, the deadline for superSKIN points and tickets has been extended until May 31, 2023.

UCI CINEMAS | Student discount

Students can save money at the cinema thanks to SKIN Student , the loyalty card that UCI reserves for students aged 14 to 26 .

With SKIN Student you can go to the cinema by purchasing 1 ticket per day with a discount (ticket office only), starting 1 hour before the start of the show. The card cannot be used on public holidays or the day before public holidays*.

Here are the offers reserved for SKIN Student holders (the price varies depending on the UCI cinema):

  • From Monday to Friday 2D and 3D films for €6.90 in the following UCIs:UCI LUXE Maximo.
  • From Monday to Friday 2D and 3D films for €5.90 in the following UCIs:Arezzo, Bicocca, Bologna, Bolzano, Certosa, Curno, Ferrara, Florence, Fiume Veneto, LUXE Campi Bisenzio, LUXE Marcon, LUX Palladio, Lissone, Mestre, Milanofiori, Orio, Parco Leonardo, Pioltello, Porta di Roma, East Rome, Romagna, Sinalunga, Verona.
  • From Monday to Friday 2D and 3D films for €5.40 in the following UCIs:Alessandria, Cagliari, Casoria, Como, Genoa Fiumara, Gualtieri, Molfetta, Moncalieri, Palermo, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia, Turin Lingotto, Villesse.
  • From Monday to Friday 2D and 3D films for €4.90 in the following UCIs:Catania, Marcianise, Red Carpet Matera, Seven Gioia del Colle and Showville Bari
  • From Monday to Friday 2D and 3D films for €4.50:at UCI Perugia.

The student discount is also valid on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and the day before public holidays, including for 3D shows only at the following UCIs:

UCI CINEMAS | Family discount 

If you are a mum/dad and have at least one child under the age of 14, there is the UCI Cinemas loyalty card, SKIN Family , which allows you to have the following discounts:

  • SCONTO FAMILY & FRIENDS
  • SCONTO FAMILY X2

The Family & Friends discount allows you to buy tickets at a discounted price, valid every day, for all 2D and 3D shows (glasses excluded). You are entitled to the Family & Friends discount if you purchase from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 7 discounted tickets, both for adults and for children aged 3 to under 14 (from 1 to a maximum of 2 adults), all for the same film . Tickets can be purchased at the box office on the day of the show, in the presence of children, online or on the free app.

The Family x2 discount allows you to purchase tickets at a discounted price, valid from Monday to Friday, for all 2D and 3D shows (glasses excluded). You are entitled to the Family X2 discount if you buy 2 discounted tickets for the same film, one for you and one for your boy or girl (from 3 to 9 years old). Tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office on the day of the show, in the presence of the child.

The price varies according to the UCI cinema:

  • 90 euros in the following UCIs: Alessandria, Cagliari, Casoria, Catania, Como, Ferrara, Fiume Veneto, Genova Fiumara, Gualtieri, Marcianise, Milanofiori, Molfetta, Moncalieri, Palermo, Piacenza, Red Carpet Matera, Reggio Emilia, Showville Bari, Seven Gioia del Colle, Turin Lingotto, Verona and Villesse.

If you are a true cinema enthusiast, UCI Cinemas offers you Cinefans , a prepaid card which includes 5 discounted admissions . There are 3 different Cinefans available:

  • Cinefans BASIC
  • Cinefans PLUS
  • Cinefans IMAX

CINEFANS BASIC

  • 5 tickets for 2D and 3D films from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays and the day before holidays);
  • use of the card up to 3 times on the same day and only for 3 admissions to the same film (excluding holidays and the day before holidays);
  • The tickets included in the Cinefans can be used at the cash desks (including automatic ones), or over the phone or on the www.ucicinemas.it purchase platform without a pre-sale supplement, by entering the card number and PIN that you receive upon purchase.

The Cinefans is not valid for the purchase of films in VIP seats, IMAX and special events.
It is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase and is non-refundable.

CINEFANS PLUS

  • 5 tickets for 2D and 3D films valid every day;
  • use of the card up to 3 times in the same day and only for 3 admissions to the same film;
  • The tickets included in the Cinefans can be used at the cash desks (including automatic ones), or over the phone or on the www.ucicinemas.it purchase platform without a pre-sale supplement, by entering the card number and PIN that you receive upon purchase.

The Cinefans is not valid for the purchase of films in VIP seats, IMAX and special events.
It is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase and is non-refundable.

CINEFANS IMAX

  • It is the prepaid card from UCI Cinemas which includes 5 tickets valid every day for 2D, 3D, IMAX 2D and IMAX 3D films.
  • use of the card up to 3 times in the same day and only for 3 admissions to the same film;
  • On sale only at the ticket offices of UCI Cinemas Pioltello, UCI Cinemas Orio, UCI Cinemas Porta di Roma and UCI LUXE Campi Bisenzio.
  • The tickets included in the Cinefans can be used at the cash desks (including automatic ones), or over the phone or on the www.ucicinemas.it purchase platform without a pre-sale supplement, by entering the card number and PIN that you receive upon purchase.

It is valid in all UCI Cinemas and UCI LUXE in Italy. Cinefans is not valid for VIP seats and special events. It is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and is non-refundable.

UCI CINEMAS | At the cinema in the afternoon

In the afternoon, the cinema ticket costs less! If you go to the cinema on weekdays in the afternoon (within the time indicated on the page of your favorite cinema), the cost of the ticket is reduced.

Public holidays and days before public holidays, VIP seats, 3D glasses (purchasable at the cinema), previews, special events, iSens/IMAX rooms are excluded from the promotion.
