We are also going to tell you a little trick, let’s say manual, to be able to record the calls we want on Android 9 or any other version.
It is an extremely simple trick where we will obtain quite good results for how easy it is.
We must have headphones with a microphone that are connected by the 3.5 mm jack or by the USB-C, if we do not have a headphone port.
We must also have the application that we have ready to record audio . Today the vast majority of smartphones have one by default, but in the Play Store there are many apps of this type to download.
We will record said application and we have two ways of recording ourselves talking to the interlocutor.
- The first would be activating the hands-free system of the terminal so that the audio comes out through the speakers and the app records it at the same time as us. It is convenient not to get too close to the mobile to talk and so both audios are fairly even.
- The second way is, having connected a headset with a microphone as we said before, put the microphone in a headset so that our voice and that of the person with whom we are speaking is recorded.

In the Huawei P30 Pro, which comes with EMUI 9.1, the brand has natively added the function to record the calls we receive.
This same function can be installed on any Huawei and Honor phone with EMUI 9, by installing an APK file .
For this installation it is not necessary that our smartphone is rooted , since it can be installed on any Huawei and Honor that have EMUI 9 running under Android 9 Pie. We just download the APK file and install it on our smartphone .

- Now we press ” Automatically record calls ” and inside we make sure that this function is enabled .
- In ” Automatic recording settings ” we can choose between ” All calls ” or ” List numbers “.
Now we can keep the calls in audio format saved on our Huawei and Honor smartphone.
Record on Xiaomi
Xiaomi is another brand that officially brings, without having to resort to any program, the ability to record our calls on Android 9.
The way to activate this function is extremely simple:
- We must go to ” Settings ” and then to “System applications “.
- Then click on ” Call settings “.
- Next, we must enter ” Call recording “.
- And inside we must enable ” Record calls automatically “.
- In addition, we can record all the numbers, only numbers that we select by creating a list and we have a tab to automatically record “Unknown numbers”.
