How to create a free giveaway in Streamlabs
Before we can start a distribution, we need to create one in Streamlabs Cloudbot. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to Streamlabs and sign in to your account.
- Click on Cloudbot in the menu on the left.
- In Cloudbot go to the Sharing tab
- Here you will see the option to give away items or create your own giveaway. If you want to give away items for free, you need to have at least 1 item in your Streamlabs store. Most of you will probably want to do an individual giveaway.
- Click on the ” Create a new draw ” button.
- This is where we can set up the basics of our giveaway.
Name – Give your prank a name.
Timer – how long your viewers have to enter your prank.
Permission – who can participate in the draw. You can set it to Everyone, Subscribers Only , or Subscribers and Moderators .
- The Advanced tab has some additional features that you can customize in your giveaway if you wish.
Must be a subscriber to win – If you select this box, only subscribers will be able to win the prize. This is a good way to encourage subscribers to your channel.
Ticket price . If you use the loyalty system in Cloudbot, you can make it so that people have to use loyalty points to participate in the draw. (I don’t personally recommend this).
Subscriber/Non-Subscriber Bonus Tickets – give subscribers or non-subscribers additional entries into the draw.
Add any additional features you deem necessary. Personally, I recommend only choosing the “Subscribers Only” option.
- Click the Add button to complete the gift creation.
You will now see your giveaway in the Custom Giveaways section, ready to run.
How to start a giveaway on Streamlabs
Once you’ve created your giveaway, you need to run it so people can participate. Follow the instructions below to enter the chat.
- Click on the ” Start Draw” button
- You will see a Streamlabs announcement in your chat.
- Users can enter the draw by typing !raffle in chat.
- You will then be able to see all entries in the Streamlabs Free Giveaways panel. You can also see how much time is left and close entries earlier.
- Once the timer runs out or you close the entries, you can click on the Pick a Winner button to randomly select a winner. The winner will appear on the screen.
When choosing a winner, you can share this screen with your audience so they know everything is legal. It will just give your audience a little more confidence in the prank.
The winner will also be marked and announced in your broadcast chat.

- Go to Streamlabs.com and sign in to your account.
- Click on Cloudbot in the menu on the left.
- Select the Gifts tab .
- Click on draw history
Here you can view past draws and winners.
How to Reuse Previous Giveaways in Streamlabs
If you’ve set up a giveaway and want to run similar giveaways regularly on your channel, you can reuse the previous setting. Just go back to the giveaway section in Streamlabs, open your custom tab, and click ” Start Giveaway “.
The new giveaway will start with the same settings as your previous giveaway, without going through the setup process again.
If you are planning to give away another prize, you can click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the giveaway -> edit -> change the description of the available prize.

There are many different items you can give away to get more Twitch followers and followers. Ideally, you want to give away something that is in high demand. If you’re giving away a more expensive ticket > $50, you can only offer giveaways to subscribers.
