You are going to need to glide in LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga in order to get to some collectibles like Kyber Bricks and Minikits. However, the ability to glide is not available to all character classes, so in this guide we will explain everything you need to know to take to the skies.

To glide, you’ll first need to unlock the scavenger abilities in Episode VII, The Force Awakens. Progress through this episode until you reach the “Junk for Junk” mission, where you control Rey and BB-8.
Here, you will need to collect 20 pieces of junk scattered throughout the wreckage of the Star Destroyer.
As you collect them, Rey will stop to build each of the Scavenger abilities at small workbenches. The second you will build is the Glider. Gather all 20 pieces of scrap, then bring them to Unkar Plutt to complete this quest and tutorial, unlocking the Glider to use when you need it.

When controlling a Scavenger character, hold B/ Circle/ A to open the ‘Tools Menu’. Select the Glider (it’s the middle option) and press A/X/B to confirm your choice.
Now walk to where you want to use the glider and press the button shown on the on-screen prompt to glide.

Once the tutorial is complete, the glider can be used with any of the following characters once unlocked:

- Lightning
- chief fluke
- Haha
- logray
- Paploo
- tebo
- Teedo
