There are two ways to change party members, and it all depends on where you are. If you’re inside a town or dungeon, you need to stand on a Record of Fate, which are the green dots on the pyramid that you’d otherwise use to save. While standing there, open your inventory and use the Tele-Porter item. With it, you are taken to a screen to change your group.
The other method is for when traveling on the world map. In this case, since there are no Record of Fate locations, you can open your inventory and use the Tele-Porter item wherever you want. Apart from the change of location, the method is exactly the same.
