How to get the Insulating armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The Insulating armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has pretty standard protection and provides a boost to Link’s attack during storms. His ability may not seem like the most useful, but it comes in handy when metal weapons cannot be used and therefore options are reduced.

The Insulating armor is also tied to a main quest in the game, so you will need to acquire it at some point. That being said, it is also one of the most attractive armors, so it might be worth getting it sooner rather than later. There’s no reason for Link to sport anything other than absolutely fabulous.

To get the Insulating armor, you will need to have completed a good portion of the main quest. Without giving too much away, after finishing all four “Regional Phenomena” quests, another quest will be triggered, leading you to Hyrule Castle. Once completed, the next main quest will be added to the adventure log when you strike up a conversation with Purah in Lookout Landing. Once you have started said quest, you will be able to obtain the Insulator armor. Next, we provide you with all the information about how to get the Insulating armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Continuing the quest will take you towards Faron, specifically the Tower in Popla Foothills, and then Dracozu Lake. This last part will not have a quest marker, so as a precaution, the coordinates are (0969, -2532, 0008).
