How to get a light scale trident in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Similar to Breath of the Wild, TOTK’s Light Scale Trident is immensely powerful. It can be repaired if broken , giving it a huge advantage over other weapons in the 2023 title. It also deals 22 base Attack Damage and improves Link’s swimming speed .
Obtaining it isn’t exactly a walk in the park in Hyrule, however, as players need to provide the materials and visit specific locations. However, it’s certainly not as complex as other items, like Majora’s Mask.
To get Lightscale Trident in TOTK, follow the instructions below:
- Head to the General Store in Zora’s Domain.
- Locate Dento, who is at the back of the store.
- Upon speaking to Zora, she will inform you that she can make a Light Scale Trident, as long as Link supplies her with the materials. These are: 1x Zora Spear and 3x Diamonds.
- Zora’s Spear can be acquired from Lizalfos near Zora’s Domain.

- Exchange the materials for the Trident when you have acquired them.
- Enjoy the light scale trident! We recommend attaching other items to it to further increase its lethality.

Described in-game as: A spear of peerless grace prized by Champion Zora Mipha. Although Mipha specialized in healing skills, his spear skill was unique.
If players break the Lightscale Trident, they just need to return to Dento and request another one. Keep in mind that it will cost you another Zora spear and three diamonds, so it’s an expensive exercise.
