Steps to create a free Babbel account from PC:

1. Open your favorite browser and in the address bar write the following URL www.babbel.com .
2. Once you enter the Babbel portal, the first thing you should do to start the registration process is to click on the orange “Create an account” button in the upper right corner.
3. In the new window you must select the language you want to learn, to do this click on that language.
4. Now you must choose the reason why you want to learn that new language, there are 7 different options, among them you can choose “For school”, “For a next trip”, “I need it for my job” or “Other”.
5. In this step you must tell Babbel how much you know of the language you selected, you can choose between “Not much”, “Some” or “Much”.
6. Select the time you would like to spend to learn the selected language; You can choose between “5 minutes a day”, “15 minutes a day”, “30 minutes a day”, “60 minutes a day” or “I don’t know yet”.
7. Now you must choose the age range that corresponds to you.
8. Babbel will give you a series of options so that you indicate where you met the website, choose the option that corresponds to your circumstance.
9. Write your name in the box provided and click “Continue”.

2. Create a password that has a minimum of 6 characters, this password must be made up of numbers, special characters and letters. Click on the “Create an account” button .
3. To finish the registration process, you must enter your email and look for the email sent by Babbel to confirm your email.
4. When you open the email sent by Babbel, you must click on the orange button «Confirm email»; you will immediately be redirected to your Babbel account.
5. Once inside your account you must click on the word Babbel that is in the upper left corner to configure your profile data.

How to register a free account at Babbel using mobile?

1. Download the Babbel app on your mobile device or tablet from Google Play or the App Store.
2. Once the app is downloaded, enter it.
3. The first thing you should do is select the language you want to learn.
4. In the new window select the reason why you want to learn the new language.
5. Now you must select how much you know the language.
6. Select the time you plan to spend  daily learning that new language.

9. In the new window you must select the method you want to use for registration; you can choose between Google, Facebook or  email . If you want to link your account to Facebook, you must have created a profile on that social network.

1. If you select email in the next window, you must write your name and then click on the “Continue” button.
2. In the next window you must write your email address and click on “Continue”.
3. In this step you must create the password that you will use in your account, it must have at least 6 characters. Click on the orange button «Register» .
4. To finish the registration, open your email and look for the email sent by Babbel; confirm your account by clicking on the orange button «Confirm e-mail».
5. Once your email is verified you will be sent back to the Babbel app where you can start using your account.
