MLB The Show 21 is a bit light on the new features, but something that has definitely been added to the game is Create a Stadium. This feature allows you to create the stadium of your dreams using many interesting backgrounds, stadium dimensions, accessories, etc. If you’re here, you’re probably looking for a little direction on how to create a stadium in MLB The Show 21 . Here is what you need to know.

How to create a stadium in MLB The Show 21

Building a stadium in MLB The Show 21 takes a bit of patience if you want to do it all and really make it yours. If you just want to mess around a bit, there is also an option for that that will get you to your own stadium in a matter of minutes. Let’s review.

Easy mode

Easy mode lets you take a preset stadium, tweak a few things to make it look more like your own, then launch and run it without doing anything to render the stadium unusable.

Open Create Stadium in the upper right corner of the main menu via Create. You will be able to select a preset stadium, which is recommended if you don’t plan on using Pro mode (see below). When you log in, the first option on the bottom bar will be Edit Mode, which should then be set to Easy if it isn’t already. From there, just go through all the other options, Stadium Properties, Scenery, etc., and configure everything to your liking.

Easy mode is good, easy. There really isn’t much to do. You just have to browse the options, choose the one you like the most, and in a matter of minutes you will have a stadium created for you.

Remember that you can always press TouchPad on PlayStation or View on Xbox to return to the Create Stadium edit bar in case you get stuck.

Pro mode

Pro Mode is if you really want to get serious about building a stadium in MLB The Show 21, build everything from scratch and create something truly unique.

Once again, go to Create Stadium and choose a stadium to get started. You can always edit a preset stadium, but consider choosing the blank canvas if you want to use a completely empty park.

Most of the steps (see below) are the same whether you are in Easy or Pro mode. Just choose what you like and name your park, etc. However, what is different this time in Pro mode is that you can do things like change the height of the wall and add accessories, seats.

In the Exterior Wall section, select the Custom option and use the d-pad to select a panel that you want to customize. From there you can still do things like change the material, but you should notice that options like wall height that were previously grayed out are now active. Use this option to change the height of each panel to your liking.

In the Accessories section it is the same offer. Adding an accessory is now selectable and you can browse all accessories, define them where you want, and customize them however you want. Just keep in mind that while you have a lot of freedom, you can’t just add seats in the middle of the field or something. Your stadium cannot be used in this case.

Whether you’re using Easy or Pro mode, when you’re done, go to Save / Options to save your stadium and if it is playable, make it available.

Time required: 10 minutes.
