Why clear caches

The data caches stored on the console are used to maintain high game performance. But when the caches are corrupted it is possible that they have difficulty loading the same game or problems with the connection of the device. From time to time, to avoid these problems, it is always best to clear caches on Xbox One.

Unlike Xbox 360 which allowed to clear caches from Settings by following the path: System Settings , Storage Area , Device Options , displayed by selecting on the controller Y > Free system cache . On the Xbox One X there is no internal procedure provided by the settings.

To clear the caches on Xbox One, you need to turn off the console from the power button on the front of the device. Then once all the lights have gone out, unplug the power supply, wait for a few seconds and plug it back in. Turn the Xbox One console back on and start playing again.
