Sign in with Apple is the service with which Apple allows us to manage our records and accounts in apps and services. When we register for a service we have the option of hiding our email address and receiving forwarded mail . And when we want to change the address to which messages are forwarded?
How to change the mail forwarding address of the Sign in with Apple service
Whenever we have decided to hide our real mail, we can choose to which address the emails we receive from the different apps and services with which we have registered using Sign in with Apple are forwarded . This is a global setting, so we keep in mind that, when changing it, all messages from all apps will be sent to the new address that we indicate.
On our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
- We open the Settingsapp .
- We press our name at the top.
- We enter Name, phones, mail.
- We tapped Resend tounder Hide my email .
- We choose the address we want to use from the list.
- We click OK.
If the email we want to forward the messages to does not appear in the list, we can add it after completing step 3, by tapping Edit next to Readable in and then tapping Add email or phone .
On our Mac
- In the Apple menu we choose System Preferences.
- We enter Apple ID.
- We enter Name, phones, mail.
- Press Editto side Hide my email and forward to: .
- We choose the address we want to use from the list.
- We click OK.
If the email we want to forward to does not appear in the list, we can add it after completing step 3 by tapping + under Contact information .
In the web
- We enter appleid.apple.com
- We enter our username and password and, if necessary, the two-factor authentication code.
- We click on Editto the right of the Account section .
- In the section Hide my emailwe use the drop-down to choose the address we want to use from the list.
- We click OK.
If the email we want to forward to does not appear in the list, we can add it after completing step 3 by tapping Add more under Locatable in .
