Before getting to the heart of this guide, let me give you some more information about the operation you are about to perform. To change the date of birth configured on the PlayStation 4, it is necessary to change the one declared on the main PlayStation Network profile paired with the console.
In this regard, I want to be clear right away: Sony does not allow, at least not in an “official” way, to change the date of birth declared at the time of registration through its PSN profile page.
However, at the time of writing this guide, it is possible to put into practice a little trick to still succeed in the enterprise: you need to log in to the Sony Mobile portal (i.e. the platform that also includes PSN) and connect the PSN account to the Sony Mobile services. In this way, it will be possible to easily change the date of birth declared on PSN.
This operation, however, has limitations: the procedure can only be carried out via the browser ( including that of the PS4 ) and can be completed only once . So if you have already updated your date of birth on the Sony Mobile portal in the past, you will not be able to do this again, sorry.
Also, before doing anything, make sure you have your PSN account password available : if you don’t remember it, bring up the top toolbar of the PlayStation, select the Settings icon and press the X button of the pad on it. Subsequently, select the Account Management item , press on Log in and, after pressing the triangle button on the controller, enter the e-mail address linked to your account, press the Next button and press the X button on the controller.
In this way, a confirmation email should be sent to you : open it, press the Change Password button , select one of the methods to verify your identity and press the Continue button .
Finally, enter the information requested, click Continue again , enter the new password to use to log in and click the OK button . Note that following this procedure, you may need to log in again on the connected devices.

How to change age on PS4
Having made all the necessary clarifications of the case and the PSN account password in hand, it’s time to get to the heart of this guide and explain how to change the age on PS4 , or rather, on your personal PlayStation Network account. As I already mentioned a little while ago, this operation can be performed only once and must necessarily be done via browser , be it for PC, smartphone / tablet or PS4.
Specifically, to launch the console browser, move to the Internet Browser icon located in the PS4 home menu and press the X button on the pad to open it. Now, to bring up the address bar / search bar, press the triangle key .
In any case, once you have opened the Internet browsing application you prefer, connected to the address https://account.sonymobile.com/it-IT/#/signin , enter the email address with which you subscribed to the PSN portal and press the Login button . If necessary, in the same way, enter the password to access the account in the appropriate field and press Log in again .
The game is practically done: if everything went smoothly, the website will invite you to update your Sony account to link it to Sony Mobile services, asking you to enter your date of birth .
At this stage, all you have to do is use the fields below to enter the day , month and year of birth you intend to declare: pay attention to the correctness of the data entered, since, I repeat once again, it is the the only opportunity you have to make this change.
When you are done, put the check mark next to the box indicating I have read the privacy policy and, if you wish to subscribe to the Sony newsletter, also check the box above.
To confirm the changes applied, press the Save button at the bottom of the page and that’s it: starting from this moment, the date of birth on PSN (and, consequently, on PlayStation) will be updated with the one just declared on the site Sony and can no longer be changed.
