FOR iOS
- Log in to your account
- On the Account tab, select the gear icon
- Select Settings from the menu
- Select the account to edit, the Push Notifications settings panel will open
- Select the type of notification you would like to receive by swiping your finger to select ON. For many notification options, you can also choose who you’d like to receive notifications from .
Note: Make sure you have enabled Twitter notifications in Settings , otherwise your iOS device may be blocking Twitter from displaying notifications.
Open the Settings application -> Select “Notifications” -> Select Twitter from the list -> Check that “Allow notifications” is selected (position “ON”).
FOR ANDROID
- Select the icon on the right that you find in the top menu
- Select Settings
- Select the username of the account to change
- Select Notifications under Notification Settings
- Select the type of notification you would like to receive
Note: If you follow certain accounts via SMS , you will automatically receive their tweets in Push Notifications. These accounts are listed in the tweet option under “Notification Settings”.
