El Corte Inglés has launched for the second year in a row a website available until December 24 called “Santa’s Call” so that parents can book an appointment with Santa and have him call their children. In order to make the reservation you must enter the web www.lallamadadepapanoel.es and register to receive a video call from Santa Claus, who will speak with the little ones.
The procedure is the next:
- Enter the website from a computer and open your mobile camera to scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
- Log in with a Google, Microsoft, Yahoo or El Corte Inglés account.
- Next, a form will appear in which you will have to fill in the requested information such as the child’s name and the city in which he lives. All these data are necessary so that Santa Claus can know who your son is and thus be able to speak with him perfectly.
- When you have finished filling in the form, a page will open with a button that says “Watch video”.
- You only have to click on that link to start the video call with Santa Claus directly from the North Pole in which there will be a personalized detail with the child’s name.
- The video with the call will remain registered in the system and if you want to watch it again, you just have to access the website again and click on “Watch my videos again”.

Undoubtedly the most used application to talk to Santa Claus. To use it, you just have to download it on your phone from the application store that corresponds to your operating system and register for it. Call Santa with virtual assistants
If you think that the forms of contact with Santa Claus end here, you are very wrong, since you can also call him from the virtual assistants Alexa and Google Assistant. In the case of Alexa, a compatible smart speaker such as the Amazon Echo. To be able to do this you have to download the Santa Claus skill in the Alexa application of your phone. The Malaga opinion newspaper has enabled an option to call the Kings this Christmas. To request an appointment with them and for your children to enjoy the video call, you must access their website and follow these steps:
- Select the option “Video call with the Kings” and then on the calendar screen that says “Book your magical video call with the Kings” select the date and time you want your children to receive the call. The days enabled are January 3 and 4.
- Fill in a form with the requested information, including your email address.
- You will receive an email with the reservation confirmation and a link where you can download the authorization to receive the call. You will have to return the signed authorization within a maximum of 24 hours for the reservation to be formalized. If you don’t, it will be canceled.
- When it has been approved, you will receive an email with a link to the Zoom video calling application.
- On the chosen date and time, you will only have to access that Zoom link to connect to the video call, which will last five minutes so that all the children can enjoy it.
